Love the suspense created by the last panel! But I'm still going to stand by the idea that the "filler air-drop" was just a distraction and Alexis is actually tapped into Than's supply.

Well Than is my favorite. She only expanded for her own pleasure. Alexis always only did it because of competition and to battle Than. She is on the dark side for sure, not following her own wishes.
