2026-09-06 09:00 Basically the old Wolf tricked Komamura so he can expand his lifespan by eating Komamura's heart filled with revenge, also all this time Komamura wanted to face Yhwach with his new form (he would lose obviously) but since she defeats Shinji, he had to face her and I think he thought that he could defeat her and then go against Yhwach since he didn't know all the details about that technique

This arc of Bleach since to go into some lore we didn't know about that universe and I find that very interesting especially Ichigo's thing since those are new scenes that the author add

I wouldnt say the wolf tricked him. Sure he didn't tell him everything about the technique but it wouldnt have even mattered. Komamura came to him wanting to learn the technique. It's not like he manipulated him into giving up his heart. He gave komamura want he asked for and benefited from it

Yeah we will definitely be getting a lot more lore come cour 3 and 4. Wonder if they are gonna animate the CYOW novels in cour 4.

I remember getting really emotional when this chapter came out back in 2013. Sad to see what happened to Komumaru. Who wouldve thought that we would have to wait 10 years from then before seeing it animated :/

Man , it's a shame so much is going on (reaction wise) right now. The best episodes of this Cour still lie before you, but this episode was one of my favorites. It's because of Captain Komamura , his story is quite sad. Some people like to say he was tricked - but I don't believe so. He didn't ask for specifics, he only said he would do anything. His rage and desire for revenge blinded him so much that he didn't ask for the specifics of the deal. If he had, maybe he'd realized that he could have contributed far more without that particular power. It was a little screwed up, but it's a real life lesson - "the devil is in the details".

The girl at the end is part of squad zero, you saw her earlier. She’s the one who took ichigo and everyone else without anyone noticing to bring them to the royal palace. Her names senjumaru

The past ichigo saw of the soul king is VERY important to the story and why yhwach is doing all of this . I recommend reading the past of the soul king and why he is the way he is suspended in a crystal and was the reason why aizen tried to overthrow the soul society .

Definitely the episodes from this point onwards get better and better.
