For me this anime is a fun watch but is not something extraordinary. If it wasn't a spinoff of a popular show probably I would have dropped it.

About what to react, I recommend to start with the first season of call of the night. That way you will be ready to react to the second season in July.

The anime I’m enjoying the most this season is To Be Hero X. I know the hero genre is oversaturated these days, but I was surprised with how much I liked it. I think the show’s two different animation styles a really good. It’s a Chinese show, but the original audio, as well as the Japanese and English dubs are great imo. It’s 7 episodes in at the moment, and I believe it’s a 24 episode season. Each story arc focuses on a different hero in the top 10 ranking, but with an overarching storyline. Hiroyuki Sawano does some of the music. He’s worked on AoT, Solo Leveling, and 86. The soundtrack hits.

To be hero x is on top for this anime season for sure

For Lazarus, the show is still pretty episodic, with the overall plot still looking for Dr Skinner. It’s alright, I think you would give it the same criticism as Cowboy Bebop.
