she knows healing spells, just not as high level as Methode or a priest, read before you go on your rampages please xD

Also only by the fact that is normal in this world to have a party with a mage + a priest, we should asume that normaly a mage cannot learn priest spells, with the exception of Methode for some reason that we dont know. Fern was raised by a priest and she cant do any priest spells. Heiter asked frieren for help precisely because Fern was a mage and he was not able to teach her being a priest, like in episode 1 or 2

To be fair to Frieren, I think she mentioned in Season 1 that the ability to cast Healing Magic is kind of a talent you have to be born with since its different from regular magic or something like that

Season 1 episode 15 (smells like trouble) is when we get the "normal magic vs priest (magic of the goddess). It's not that Frieren won't learn advanced healing, she can't.

We do know, have to be born with the gift and there are levels of how much you are touched by the goddess. They go over this in depth in s1.
