These cute little desk buddies have changeable shells that just slide right off. I'll be adding new designs to allow you to swap them over.• Features •🐢 1 Print profile for the Turtle Body and 1 plain shell - Quick prints (AMS and no AMS friendly)🐢Shell is a snug fit on the turtle's back, (NO glue required)🐢Extra print profiles for additional shell designs🐢 Tiny amount of supports around mouth, already set up in the print profile.🐢 Optional hand paint the eyes with a black marker or acrylic paint pen (saves on purging filament), but there is the option to print the eyes if you wish.🐢 Approximate size  7cm x 4cm x 4cmExclusive only to Patreon members are fidget clicker shells (attachment added)

• Extra Requirements •You will require a keyboard switch. Tested on Kailh Box keyboard switches (no need to remove the pins with pliers). I purchased the white ones from AliExpress; they are cheap, and I really like the clicky sound they make. I recommend placing the keyword switch into the base first; it should click into place. Then place the button on top, and you should feel that click in place.

• For AMS and Multi-nozzle Users •- Within the STLs, parts are easy to select and use the fill paint tool, (1 click).-Areas like the eyes have been set up so it's easy to colour with the fill tool. So if you prefer to use filament rather than paint pens for any of the small details, then use my 1 click guide to colour the features Fill Colour guide (click here)

• For Non-AMS Users •- You can print in a single colour and use an alicyclic paint pen. A guide can be found in my "A Guide to Acrylic Paint Pens" (click here)• A non-clicker version of the turtle is here on MakerWorld •https://makerworld.com/en/models/1109395#profileId-1105721Any issues or support, please let me knowHappy Printing 😊

Hi I’m new to the patreon stuff. Where do I find the turtle clicker stl file? My daughter wants to print one and I don’t know where to look. TIA

3D Miss Prints

there are here at the bottom of my post, can you see the attachment its called "TurtleShellClickersOnly.3mf"

Bob

Hey, sorry to be a pain........... i downloaded the clicker file but I'm unable to open it. I am using Cura. Any help is greatly appreciated.

3D Miss Prints

I've never used cura before. Tomorrow I could upload the STL files maybe you can import them into cura. You won't have the printer settings from my file though but I guess it's worth a try.

Bob

That will greatly appreciated! Thank you!

ive uploaded the STLs above. For the shells make sure you import the rim and the shell together. So import both together as 1 asset ( Shell_Rim_Clicker) and (Shell_01_Clicker) and the same for the patterned shell (Shell_Rim_Clicker) and (Shell_02_Patterned_Clicker) The reason they are separate is so you have more control over swapping colours Feel free to PM me if yo have having any issues

I printed one a few days ago and got the keyboard switches in yesterday. This turned out so awesome! My son's girlfriend loved it. She had a suggestion to add a loop to the end of it to attach it to her keychain. What are your thoughts?

Thankyou for you lovely comments. A keyring hook is definitely something I can look into. I may be able to just create a hook.STL and then people can import that onto the slicer file and hand place where you wish the hook to be, if that would be easier?

Frankie

Oh, that would be amazing. I wasn't expecting a reply so quickly. You are top notch!

Frankie

Oh that would be awesome if you could create the hook file. You are so amazing. I can't wait to print more of your great work.
