NO WAY!! You released this today. I told Rekkai this was a banger of an episode when he asked about favourite episodes he wanted to know when my favourite "The Waters Of Mars" was coming, I told him soon & here it is!! 🥰

One of my absolute favourite episodes of the 10th Doctor & I continually rewatch it every year!! The story, the supporting cast, especially Lindsie Duncan is just superb!! Not many stories are told about fixed points & this is of course one of them. When each character dies it hurts, a gut hurt & those final moments between 10 & Adelade just incredible. That's how close our Doctor can be to becoming "The Master" & a companion will always ground him. A spellbounding episode, just adore it!! 🥰

i absolutely love the episodes where the doctor gives in to his "god among mortals" instincts and goes too far, and this is in my top five of these types of episodes. loved seeing your reaction and discussion!

I watched this episode with my friend when it first released when I was a kid my friend was crying and couldn't watch it because the water infected people faces reminded him of the rocking chair video

There may have been a cover up. When they found the body they could Have kept it quiet I So people would believe the original story.

I still feel like she could have inspired her granddaughter in person, by telling her the story...there are so many unanswered questions that it would make anyone curious to explore more! I think the Doctor has many instances where the loss become too much and he goes off the rails for an episode or a portion of an episode, this is one where he almost immediately knows he probably went too far....I still love every second! I wonder what kind of person that makes me 🤔?
