The whole Rache/Rachel thing between Anderson and Sherlock is that in Conan Doyle’s version the word the victim spelled out actually WAS rache (German for revenge) as Anderson had said. On a personal note, Moffat shines in Sherlock. I got tired of him towards the end of his Dr Who show run (maybe even sooner than that). But Sherlock is perfect for him.
