Big spoilers that yall ain't got to yet but crazy ending

Omega was a timelord that got trapped in an anti matter universe during his experiments. He was pissed off because nobody came looking for him. Why they turned him into Sutech's stuntman is beyond me. Billie is not the new Doctor. She was not credited as such during the end credits. As the next showrunner is currently unknown who ever it may be taking over will want input over who that may be. She's just a holding pattern until the choice is made. The boss was 1st mentioned in the 60th specials. We haven't met them yet.

Apparently the ending was rewritten when it was confirmed Ncuti would be leaving, not certain but what I've heard. Also this was difficult for you guys cause A LOT of stuff in the last 15min isn't based on what you've seen so far so that must have been hard to digest also. Main consensus though is people are bit deflated because this season in particular was so good and Ncuti was crushing it, so not only has era ended too early, it feels like the decision to end it wasn't in his hands which is very unfair so I think people are mainly just sad he didn't get what he fully deserved. We all went into this episode not knowing for certain it was his last episode so it's unfair on fans too, so people currently just feeling a bit sad because a good man and a good run has ended too early. I think Billie will just be temporary, Ncuti couldn't regenerate into nobody and they can't cast a perm doctor at this time so they needed someone who could bridge that gap until the future is confirmed and so something like this is probably your best way of doing it. I imagine she'll be Bad Wolf which for a few specials I think is cool, then the next Doctor comes and away we go!

ncuti is really gone too soon. eccelston's run was short but ncuti's run felt shorter:(

RIP 15 🫡 He had a few episodes and moments where he really lived up to his potential and delivered some fantastic performances but just didn’t have enough time and was let down by some bad writing. He was a great doctor gone too soon

You’ve met most of The Pantheon but there’s still a few out there and one MASSIVE one that Russell has experience writing (The Sarah Jane Adventures) who is very capable of making this all make sense if done correctly. Whether or not he stays on or they introduce a new showrunner I have a feeling The Master will be back next season and he’ll be working for or with The Trickster. The God of Mischief. He’s already proven more than capable of messing with people’s histories, even The Doctor by simply changing the lives of the people around him. The beetle on Donna’s back is one of “The Trickster Brigade” and The Trickster himself messed with Sarah-Jane’s life in a very hands on and personal way. I’m sad Ncutis gone but I have hope it won’t be for good and that he’ll be back sooner, rather than later. It’s important to remember that the last time Rose, proper Rose, was able to come back was as a result of “Turn Left” in which The Trickster used Donna to get The Doctor killed and it weakened the barrier between the universes allowing her, Jackie and Mickey to come through. Hell, nobody knew Jodie was gonna pop up here but a lot of us are grateful she did but that also hints at the walls of reality being very thin.

I watched this at the cinemas on Saturday and I have so many conflicting thoughts. I should first start with the good though. The good moments...I thought Anita returning to save the day and reuniting with The Doctor was great. Nice use of the time hotel. I liked the UNIT battle against the Skeletons with everyone scrambling to fight together. Ruby being the one to face Conrad also worked. Ruby also being the only one to notice Poppy's absence and tying it together with her previous disappearance in the church episode was also very effective in how it made everyone else and The Doctor realise that Poppy was missing. Millie Gibson was a huge standout in those scenes. I also loved the scene with Ncuti Gawta and Jodie Whittaker. Obviously I won't talk much about this since you guys haven't met her properly yet but it was genuinely lovely to have another Doctor reassure the current Doctor before their final moments. Also the final goodbye between The Doctor and Belinda with Poppy was also bittersweet. The music during the regeneration scene was also great. The brief Mel and Rani exchange was also welcome. However....god. There are still several issues that plague this episode. One being that Omega basically got the Sutekh treatment from Series 14. Turned into a giant CGI monster that only lasts for a few minutes. At least Sutekh dusted the world. Omega just lasted 5 minutes. And it's also such a waste to have Archie's Rani being eaten like that. That was disappointing. They should have just had both Ranis and Conrad as big bad trinity. There's already too much to handle when you're cramming another Classic villain into narrative and not giving them the justice that they need. At least have Omega breaking the Vindicator or putting it further from The Doctor's reach. It would at least be something to make him of a challenge for The Doctor to beat. Also Belinda got sidelined hard. It's such a shame too because she was handled so well for the first few episodes but lost some of her agency in the later episodes. Varada has been brilliant and deserved more time to shine. Thirdly Ncuti leaving also feels too soon. I was desperately hoping that he'd stay for at least one more series. When Poppy disappeared, I kept speculating maybe Series 16 will be Ncuti travelling together with Ruby and Belinda (as a companion duo) for more adventures or even potentially having Anita as the new companion. Obviously we couldn't escape the rumours of him leaving but I was hoping it wouldn't be true as there was a leaked photo of Ncuti and Varada dancing (which made me think he was staying). There's current speculation and discussion of the ending being rewritten for Ncuti's departure so I'm curious to know what the original plans were. I'm actually really sad. I know Ncuti is expanding for other horizons as a growing actor but I feel like he still had so much to give as The Doctor. He didn't even the face the Daleks or Cybermen or other established New Who villains which is crazy. He didn't even get to face any original villains outside of the Pantheon members. Such a shame. He didn't even say goodbye to Ruby either. It feels wrong and too premature for my liking. As for Ncuti regenerating into Billie Piper....I don't know I feel about it yet. It feels too weird. Regardless of whether she's the new Doctor or not, this feels very backwards and confusing. I love Billie as an actress. She was great as Rose and The Moment but this feels so bizarre. I still need to process it as it's been two days but this decision still feels wrong...it just left me thinking "Why?". Also no Susan was disappointing cause I really wanted a reunion with her and The Doctor. Most of this series was still enjoyable but man. I just wish Nucti had more time in the role.

It definitely looked like Ruby was meant to be the companion this season. So I don't know what went on there. It's funny how Belinda started as this self assured nurse and ended up as a stay at home mom. Conrad would be so proud.

I know this is late but I would like to see Jo Martin (first non white female Dr). come in with a run. Since we don't know where she comes in the Drs time line it would be fun.
