I never disliked Jodie as The Doctor but man did this episode really make me wish Jo Martin had been cast. She’d have been a fantastic follow up to Capaldi’s grizzled seriousness. Then they could have Jodie being the young and energetic Doctor she was. It’d make a bit more sense to me.

Jo commands the screen like a Doctor should. Sadly Jodie never managed it. Which is probably why they didn't pair her with Jack in the same episode for the same reason. Why Ruth's Tardis looks like a police box is never explained either. The 1st nail in Doctor Who's coffin.

You couldn't follow Capaldi with Martin, they are too similar, That is why Jodie was the perfect choice to follow Capaldi.

Idk how into audio dramas you two are, but once you finish this season, definitely give the Fugitive Doctor Adventures range from Big Finish a listen, it gives plenty of Jo Martin goodness.

The doctor been to Earth before so that's why the TARDIS looks like a police box, tthe TARDIS liked that form. Why it looked like a police box in the first place is a mystery. Why if it is in a junkyard is a police box?

You made all that up. Where's the evidence? Hartnell, the 1st Doctor , mentioned surprise that the chameleon circuit was not working in the 1st story.

Who knows? Maybe they are trying to say that perhaps the doctor had memory wiped so didn't remember.

One of the many reasons to watch reactors is those moments you watch something back you haven't seen in a while and it's like sharing that moment with them lol Haven't seen this episode in a bit and watching it back now it's like Oh yeah this was really enjoyable! Forgot about the scene where she whips that Judoon's ass in the church lol Legendary. But yeah happy to have rewatched this back with you both, happy you liked it!
