Oh, this was the Anthem! Can’t tell you how we wore this out the summer this came out! Good times indeed!

Anthony Caples

Please react to the greatest hip hop song from Jazz & Fresh Prince “ Brand New Funk”!

Anthony Caples

And yes, Amber you would have been one of those 90’s Honeydips! You got the swag!

Jewel

I went to high school with Will. He was a year ahead of me. He was always like that. Larger than life personality always witty, always rhyming. They shot this video about a quarter mile from my house, Fairmount Park. This video forever encapsulates summertime in West Philadelphia! Excellent reaction!

Thomas McGlinchey

Amber, Another Summertime artists to check out would be Michael Franti & Spearhead, starting with Sound of Sunshine…

Rowan Figueroa

Dino's Summergirls! He also does a cover of The Five Stairsteps, O-o-h Child. It's simply Ooh Child. No hyphens. Whatever year his song, I Like It came out was a WILD time for me. That was me at peak wreaking havoc.

Rowan Figueroa

I'm now going to take my butt outside to try and survive for 10 minutes in this ridiculous feels like 107! It's only 92! It punches you in the face. Bbl...

Jason Kennebrew

For me, between the 80’s and 2000’s, music was life. This was playing at the family reunion.

Great reaction to THE forever summer anthem.🎯👌 The music is sampled from the legendary soul group "Kool & The Gang" from a song called "Summer Madness"(1974) It is the PERFECT slowed down song for a summer night at dusk chill. Highly recommended from their already legendary library of work.✌️

Hiya Rockstar, Man, does this song bring back a lot of Summer memories! This record came out one day after I got to my first unit in Germany back in '91. The only thing I could think about was that Saturday. I called my fiance' at her unit up in Hanau and let her know I was in country as soon as I got to Replacement Battalion in Frankfurt. It was a Tuesday. The 20th. This album came out the day after. There I was, a buck fuck all rank having Private, not even Private with Mosquito Wings (That's E2 Private), clear collars I had. I had asked her to marry me while I was at Airborne School over the phone. She said yes. I was stoked. I get to my unit, and I don't know fuck all about what's goin' on. Inprocessing, in the transient room, I didn't get assigned my bunk until the following Tuesday. All I could think about was that weekend. She was taking the train down to me. I met her at the Bahnhof that Saturday and we both love music. I pick her up in an Audi A4 with a convertible top. Decked out, leased for a week for 175 duckets. (Bout 500 plus today) I don't know the landscape, so we get a map at the Bahnhof, hop in my ride and off we go. (Little did I know I needed an International License but the guy at the rental place cut me a deal and a little bit o' slack, good dude! I got that 3 weeks later after Headstart. Every troop had to go through it. ) Yet I digress. We find this place called "Media Markt". We listen to a ton of music, and we choose the album this track is on. We jam it all the way to the hotel on post we're staying at on Patrick Henry Village. It was so good to see her. Our weekend was great, and then I had to say goodbye to her until another 2 weeks. This time it was my turn to head up to her at her barracks. When she got on that train and I put my hand on hers on the windo, she started to tear up...I just smiled and shouted, holding up two fingers and shouted, "I'll see you in two weeks! Promise!"....and the train started to roll...I ran with it until I couldn't keep up no longer. Before I lost sight of her, she held up the ASL sign for I love you. Hell, the unit could've done anything to me after that. I didn't give a damn. I got to see my girl. Married her in April of 1992. She passed away during my time at Ft. Bragg from cancer in 1996. And that song, Summertime, will always bring a smile to my face and a beautiful memory no one can take from me. Thanks so much for reacting to this and thank you for bringing back the memories of the parties we went to and the BBQs we had with our extended families while stationed in Germany and Bragg, Rockstar. That's what this tune means to me, uffda! Summer doesn't officially start for Black people until this song plays on the radio. Just like how Christmas doesn't begin until we hear "Silent Night" by the Temptations lol

Hey there, Rockstar...Keeping up with the Summer song theme. Not only does Cinnamon Girl by Type O' Negative fit your newest photoshoot on Instagram, let's bring you all the way back to 1991-PM Dawn - Set Adrift On Memory Bliss. You haven't reacted to this song yet, but once you hear it, you'll want more PM Dawn. This song was HUGE on MTV and there hasn't been an R&B act like PM Dawn since. - SGT Rock
