I love this movie!!! A movie where you repeat the title 40 million times during the movie. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yessssss! I was hoping you'd react to NOPE. I watched it a while back. I had no idea what to expect. 10 minutes into the movie, I was HOOKED. I appreciate Jorden Peele allowed the locations to be a character unto itself. The movie isn't overly edited, or scored. His style of telling a cinematic story reminds me of the 1970s era movies I was raised on. The third act, had my jaw dropping. I had NEVER seen anything like it. It became one of my very favorite contemporary sci-fi horror films.

So happy you’re continuing with Jordan Peele films. Next you have to do the movie Us, starring Lupita Nyong’o ♥️ Excited to watch this with you. Ty Amber

I have a very strict rule. If anything more powerful than myself steps, flies, even shimmies on my land, they now own it. Nope. I'm out.

Oh you’re so right. He let this location shine and it was such a great choice

This was a wild ride. A whole lot of WHAT THE ACTUAL 🤬 IS GOING ON???? That's how I felt--probably not just me--through a good portion of the first half! Fun, though, for sure! I agree, Daniel Kaluuya (OJ) was great in this, too. His "comedy relief" buddy from Get Out would've been great here, too, I think! Just some random TSA agent vacationing in the middle of the desert, right? 😅 That being said, Keke Palmer was pretty funny in her own right, and just like our TSA buddy from the last film, she saved the day. The 'alien' was pretty crazy!! Weird lookin animal...just acting like a big ol vacuum cleaner! But...then it morphs into a big, deflating hot air balloon looking thing...then to some angel looking thing before eating the ENTIRELY wrong thing, then POP goes the weasel!! That was pretty funny! I love how your momma used to sing the Flyin Purple People Eater song to you when you were little, that's hilarious! I loved that song, too! I'll look forward to more Jordan Peele. 2 for 2 so far.

Hey Rockstar, if you want some amazing commentary on just how bad chimpanzees can be, check out this future zoologist out of Maryland. He's been a rising star in the animal content space for a while now. His channel is Casual Geographic, and these videos have gone viral: 1. When Horror Movies Become Real Life (Nope) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTtUNrabvH0&t=176s 2. The Terrifying Truth About Chimps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmRsJxuILd0 3. One Mistake and This Chimp Lost It All https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6W4R4d05dko I remember reading about them in school and during Army jungle training. Nope… nope… nope! You think the Predator is bad? You do not want to get in a brawl with those bad motorfingers! They're so strong they'll rip arms off, beat the victim= with it, and then rips your crotch out while using your neck as a buffet dish! Nope. Straight-up nope! And...and...Zoos have trained killers to take out chimpanzees if they have to as a last resort aka Chimp SWAT. Wild right? Yet I digress...🤘😁 This movie was a cool hit. How would I describe it? It’s like if Spielberg and Lovecraft had a baby that grew up watching way too many nature documentaries. It dragged in some places, but that third act was on point. As for wild stories about UFOs (UAP aka Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) I've got one to share I remember back when I was a kid in St. Paul, Minnesota — one night about 5 miles northwest of my house, the whole neighborhood was outside on a clear half-moon night. About 30,000 feet up, five lights were flying in perfect formation at insane speeds. They were pulling 90-degree maneuvers, bouncing around like billiard balls after a hard break and then about five minutes later, after the Minnesota Air National Guard showed up, they bolted like a caught homewrecker — CHOOM! Gone. Fighter jets continued doing a sector sweep. Wild night. This was right around the time Chernobyl exploded. I was 17 going on 18. Made the local news too. Next day, the morning news and the papers called them, "Weather Balloons caught in the Jet Stream." Rockstar, Minnesota sits in the bowl of the Jetstream, not in the wave of it. Crazy stuff! Do I believe in aliens? Not really, but what I’ve seen in the declassified stuff is making me think we’re not alone in this universe. And on that note, Rockstar, may I suggest these two movies and one Twilight Zone episode: - Movie 1: 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) - Movie 2: The original The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) - Twilight Zone: “To Serve Man” (1962) The ’60s had some of the best sci-fi to ever hit TV and the silver screen! Take care and keep looking to the stars! -SGT Rock

Ok, confession time. I've always had a slight crush on Michael Wincott, the man with the voice. That voice! Tell me bedtime stories daddy pls. I also wouldn't object to Keke joining in. Yummmmmm.....

Amber, that was perfect timing after you said that wasn't a hail storm; the word 'nope' popped up on the screen.😁
