Woo hoo!! ♥️ Tyty Miss Amber 🐺

Patt SanKings

Simple pleasures turn out to be the best!! Great choice👍 Thank You❣️

David Berrios Rodriguez

Can Scarlet Witch possibly beat Jean Grey, even as the Phoenix? Yes. Some will say no.

Theo Harris

The bone claws were there first. You saw in the previous movie when he got the adamantium feed into his bones. He wasn't born with the metal in his bones.

I've been a fan of this character since I was a kid and it drives me nuts that every single movie with wolverine has crap fight scenes. He is supposed to be one of the best fighters on the planet and with this movie taking place in Japan, the martial arts fight choreography could have been out of this world. Thanks Hollywood for keeping consistent and dropping the ball again.

Theo Harris

This movie sets up the Days of Futures Past. Maybe the best of the Fox X-men movies. If you get a chance you should check out X-men 97. It does a great job with the X-men comic lore. Next week they are starting Season 2.

Hey Amber ! Thank u for reacting to this movie . I totally forgot how good this was. You got Wolverine vs Ninja . And a huge Silver Samurai .( a major wolverine/X-Men villain in the comics) but yeah this is the movie before Days of Future past (so Damn good) but yeah thanks again . So since you said “ you’re a sucker for Sword play !” You should watch “The Last Samurai “ you will absolutely love it ! It’s one of them movies even grow ass men tear up ! Beautiful movie .

Jean is a level 5 mutant. More powerful than most. She is called The Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 I would happily join you in a rewatch of original 3 XMen 😁

Richard C

That would be interesting. My bet is on The Phoenix

Rila Fukushima (Yukio) -- if Christina Ricci were Japanese. Will Yun Lee (Harada, the archer on the roof at the funeral) will eventually show up for several episodes of True Blood, but not until Season 7. Hiroyuki Sanada (Shingen, Mariko's father) is 65 and has been acting since he was a child. He has acting credits in Japan going back to 1966. I've seen him in Lost, Helix, The Last Ship, Westworld, and Shogun and always enjoy his work. He also had a small role in Avengers: Endgame, playing a Yakuza boss killed by Ronin (the persona Clint Barton aka Hawkeye adopted for a while after Black Widow was killed in the previous movie.) 34:20 Arm-length tattoos are a mark of the Yakuza. Logan spotted part of such a tattoo peeking out from that priest's sleeve. 1:00:45 "Is this supposed to have subtitles? It would be nice to know what they're saying." LOL. Welcome to my world. Subtitles are often missing from your reaction videos, and that can be hard for those of us who don't speak High Valerian. Yes, in X-Men: The Last Stand, Jean as Dark Phoenix kills both Cyclops and Professor X. Near the end of the movie she goes wild, killing everyone within range of her powers. The old Jean briefly regains control and begs Logan to save her, so he stabs her fatally and she dies in his arms. Elsewhere, Moira MacTaggert is checking on a comatose patient and is startled when he speaks with Xavier's voice. So...transferred his consciousness? I don't have a list of who Phoenix killed in that last scene but just having Cyclops gone and Xavier...reborn? was messy enough to wreck that run of X-Men movies. Wolverine was next and then X-Men: Days of Future Past. 1:08:00 Mariko was a love interest for Logan in the comics for a while. Her cousin Shiro Yashida was a mutant called Sunfire. Silver Samurai was the illegitimate son of Shingen Yashida, a mutant and villain.

Loosely based on the 1982 4 issue mini-series Wolverine comic. Written by Chris Claremont , who wrote all the famous X-Men comics including the next movie to watch, Days of Future Past. One of the best movies in the X-Men series. Xavier and Magneto have opposite philosophies towards humans, they are both interested in protecting all mutants from humans.

Mister Lou

Mariko is so dang beautiful! After first glance, I feel like I would also save her from suicide, save her from being kidnapped at her grandfather's fake funeral, hang off a bullet train going 300mph, throw her fiance off a building, stab her dad and evil grandfather and then let her fly me home with her surrogate sister...

Hi Amber, great movie, now all you need to see is Logan (2017) and Fantastic Four (2005) and then Deadpool and Wolverine. Congrats on your 153,000 subscribers, you're more fantastic than ever!

Rowan Figueroa

You will get some Evan Peters from AHS in Days Of Future Past. He plays Quicksilver. All the many facets of him.

terrince autry

Phoenix, i say is a match. Dark Phoenix, not a chance.

Thomas McGlinchey

Amber, Unrelated to Wolverine, but since the 4th is on a Saturday, does this mean we could be seeing Hamilton (2020, Disney+) on Saturday for the 250… it’s Broadway musical and history having its eyes on us…

Ben Martin

This movie unfortunately gets overlooked a lot, maybe because Logan overshadows it, maybe because the X-Men movies in general were getting overshadowed by the Avengers movies by this point. Either way I’m glad you got to this and enjoyed it so much! It’s a fun one that served the character much better than the Wolverine Origins movie. Looking forward to you wrapping up the rest of these on the way to Deadpool & Wolverine!

Leon F Leñero

Hi Amber, as always a great reaction. The next film in the franchise is: Days of Future Past. In my opinion the best one but, please if you can, you should watch the Rogue Cut!

MadeByMali

Trying to keep up with the timelines in the x men franchise might be a futile effort i fear

MadeByMali

Depends on which version of each character. But base Scarlet witch is beating base Phoenix yes

MadeByMali

Days of future past as well to watch all the x men movies and also the old Daredevil movie. All before Deadpool and Wolverine

This was a great movie...somehow I think I had missed watching it the first time around. A lot of great fight scenes--some of them made me think ahead (or back) to DP & W and made me laugh. As for the subtitles, about an hour in I decided to try turning on the CC (auto-generated) option, which worked, even for the Japanese, which I wasn't sure it would. That being said, not always the best translation--even the English, even what YOU were saying. Sometimes, it would be translating the Japanese, then suddenly switch to *speaking Japanese*! 😅 Over all it was a big help, though. It was great to end with the reunion (in a manner of speaking) of Jean Luke Picard of the Starship Enterprise and Gandalf the Grey (or White!)!! Love those two guys!

Be interested to see what Amber thinks of Hugh in a non-Wolverine film like Les Mis (2012), Prestige, Scoop & Swordfish…
