As soon as the mom walked in his room, I got suspicious of her and then thought back to when she was shocked that Violet (I can't remember her name in this season lol) was potentially dating her son...and how she said he had to step up and become the man of the house. And by the time she sat down next to him, I knew exactly where that scene was going. Yuck. Also, Madison's mom might be my mom's long lost twin cause that is definitely something she would do. I've never done drugs, but she would definitely steal drugs from my brother and then let him get busted for it. 😂😂 Some people just really aren't meant to be mothers, and I think I've just referenced 3 of those people... Amber, watching you talk about your kids and be such a fantastic mom to them renews some of my faith in humanity. Sorry for the trauma dump. 😂

Damn shame these aren't double drops 😪 Ah, well...anticipation, right? Another great episode. I think they did a great job casting the young Fiona! A couple of insane, messed up scenes in this one, between Kyle and his (just a smidge TOO loving) mom and the whole Queenie and Bastien situation! And the scene with Cordelia and Marie Laveau was crazy, too. They had me--and probably everyone else--thinking she actually DID go through with it, right up until Marie's 'NOPE! NOT today...not ANY day'! 😅 Poor Misty is definitely lonely, stuck out in the swamp like that! anxiously awaiting the next drop!!

4:45 "She cut his tongue out so he couldn't tell what he saw." This is a trope that always bugged me in stories. It's the sort of thing that might have worked in historical periods where most of the population was illiterate and couldn't just WRITE what they saw, but even then a good game of 20 questions could convey a lot. Here, I'd have expected that the tongue removal either had to be part of a spell that compels his silence, or a not-so-subtle warning that Fiona could do a lot worse to Spalding if he "talks." But in fact (and I know Rowan is going to come after me for spoilers), Fiona didn't cut his tongue out at all. 5:36 If you go here and click the US audio, it will pronounce the word "flange". https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/pronunciation/english/flange Her name rhymes with that. She's always been beautiful.
