I haven't seen later episodes yet, but I suspect Cipher to be actually the Tube Man and the guy just being his main puppet. Thus, her holding eye contact actually looking at her lover. XD But I could be wrong of course, however this would explain the dean not having any V in his blood but still having powers, the “he is constantly in pain” and not giving a sh*t about what happens to him.

I commented this idea on the last episode; I really can't think of any other possibilities that make as much sense as this does. But it was horrifying to hear that Jordan was aware of everything that was happening while he was controlling their body...and we saw a picture of "Cipher" in that photo from when Marie was a baby, so that would mean he's been controlling this body (with the person's consciousness still stuck inside) for at least 2 decades. That sounds like one of the worst things someone could possibly go through.

Now I want to know what happened to Ashley when she took the V (they said she wasn't able to be CEO in her condition). LOL All we saw was her skull moving around. Cipher definitely got the test done. I'm wondering what was happening to the others' blood when she was reviving her sister. Even Marie had a nosebleed.
