Ooooooo... this is a good one! Emily Blunt's scenes/performances, particularly the cellar stair nail and birthing scenes arejust really well done. Due credit to John Krazinski's way of telling a post apocalyptic sci-fi horror film. It still boggles my simple mind that in a way, "Jim Halpert" was behind this movie. I've never seen this but Rotten Tomato's gave it 96%. And it said it has aliens so I'll give it a chance. Besides, I like Emily Blunt, and her husband John Krasinski was Mr. Fantastic in Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness. When I saw her pregnant belly, I immediately thought, "a baby won't understand being quiet". I wish I knew ASL.

The way you signed "stop" made me laugh during such a tense moment. Lol. The captions were cut off, just so you know. I was born hard of hearing and know ASL, so I got most of it, but there were a few times where their signing was cut off too like when the mom was talking to her son about taking care of them when they get old...or because it was so dark, like before the fireworks scene, I caught Jim's silhouette signing "I need you" and "mother," but the rest was hard to catch. I feel like your commentary helped fill in some of those blanks though. :) I 100% understand her turning off her cochlear device before she knew what the feedback was actually doing. I literally stopped wearing my hearing aids when I go to the chiropractor because if they accidentally covered the microphone behind my ear while adjusting my neck, I got the exact same feedback noise. And it is freaking awwwwwful. I'm not a big horror fan, but this movie is just so well made. It might actually be one of my all-time favorites. And towards the beginning of the film when you mentioned pregnancy being horrifying all on its own, I knew the whole nail and bathtub sequence was going to freak you out. Lol. I forgot how progressively worse that entire situation got though. My heart rate was elevated by like 20 bpm for most of the movie, so I'm gonna count that as my cardio for today. Haha

Or if you are looking for something more in the Broadway realm, there’s Joss Whedon’s Much Ado About Nothing ft. Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson) among others…

Amber - Great choice, and the sequel is great too. Emily Blunt & John Krasinki(your boyfriend) are married in real life and John also directed this movie, plus the sequel. You often don't notice much(or at least comment) about the directors sometimes and talk quite a bit sometimes over movie dialogue but still love the reactions :)
