Patreon Blog - June 2017 #2 (Patreon)

Hey guys,

After talking with a bunch of you, it really seems like the main draw of the Discord is that the Patreon exclusive server is where I spend a bunch of my time and while that's fun, it stays pretty inactive while the general hangout is booming with activity.

Because of this, we're restructuring how our Discord perks work by removing the Patreon exclusive server and putting more emphasis on ranks.  This way, the flow of conversation isn't divided between two rooms AND you'll be getting more attention called to the amount you're contributing.

If you guys want the Patreon chat to make a come back, I am more than happy to do so, but we're going to be experimenting with this new model to see if it's more enjoyable because at the end of the day, your happiness is priority #1.
