Hey guys,

So as y'all know, I have been a bit inactive lately as I've been moving into my new place.  Well a big part of this is that my set is going to need an upgrade.  See, I don't have a dedicated wall to put it against this time around.  Instead, it's going to be inside of a nook which contains a large window.

Initially, I was going to roll with this and get some nice curtains to give the set a feeling of depth, all while adding the the regal ascetic of the throne.  However, I didn't  even consider that I wouldn't have a place to mount my comic frames.

Since the beginning, the rotating framed comics were as much of a staple of the Comic Drake set as the throne.  From the original glass frames to the two on either side of the throne to the now iconic three on one side, I definitely want to keep them in.

Here's my plan that I want to share with you guys in case y'all have any good ideas.  First, I measured out the size of the nook and I've determined  that it makes the most sense to get wood that's 6.5' x 6.5'.  We're going to cut that down the middle and install three door hinges.  That way, this set can be collapsed and moved in the future.

From there, we've purchased a can of spray on texture in order to make the wood look more like a traditional wall.  From there, we're painting the whole thing a light blue!  This should add a nice splash of color to the set and help emphasize the channel's association with the color blue.  From there, it should be like the old set by hooking up the lights and drilling in hooks for the comic frames.

This will hopefully not only let me use the space I have, but will also make the channel look even more professional.  If you have experience with building, I would absolutely LOVE thoughts, advice, and complaints.  I'd like this to look as good as possible and I want you to know that your pledges are going to good use.

Thanks again for everything! <3
