March Update (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone!
Hope you’re all doing well! We’ve got some updates this month, including new drops, ongoing design improvements, and a strategy shift to focus on our strengths.
What’s Coming Next?
🔹 Monthly Drops – New designs have already been released, with more on the way. Some have been painted, though print times are currently longer than ideal. I’ll be refining the process to improve efficiency. Click Here!
🔹 Refining Our NicheThe market is becoming increasingly saturated, with competitors pushing out thousands of designs. Rather than fighting on their turf, we’re doubling down on what we do best:Threaded Eggs & Containers – Perfecting unique, functional designs.Embossed Designs – Detailed, intricate patterns on structured surfaces.Minimalist Wallets – Customizable wallets where customers can add their own details like logos, names, or contact info.
🔹 Better Detailed Eggs with Advanced FeaturesI’ve been experimenting with texture and features, as seen in the Rock Dragon V3 Egg. The goal is to refine these tools further until I can consistently produce highly detailed designs.
🔹 Exploring Articulated CreaturesI’ve been considering diving into articulated creatures but am closely watching recent developments in the space. A new company (you may have seen their ads) is offering 100K+ free STL files with their subscription service and aggressively targeting creators making anything similar. While I’m prepared for any legal battles if necessary, the smarter play is to focus on unique niches where we already excel.
🔹 Customizable Minimalist WalletsI’m developing a STEP system that will allow users to embed their own data into wallet designs, such as company logos, names, or phone numbers. This project will take time to refine, but it has significant potential for both business and personal use.
🔹 Referral System Setback & Next StepsI had planned to launch a referral system, but Patreon recently scrapped their own version, which threw a wrench in the plan. After exploring various workarounds, I’ve realized that a proper system will require custom software development. I’m currently in talks with developers to create something seamless and user-friendly for customers. More updates on this soon.
🔹 Blog & Future UpdatesI’ll continue diving deeper into these topics in next week’s blog post. Stay tuned for more insights and behind-the-scenes details!
Final Thoughts
As the market shifts, so must we. Instead of trying to outpace competitors with sheer volume, we’re refining our craft, focusing on high-quality, niche designs that set us apart. Thank you for your continued support—your feedback and engagement make all of this possible!
Let me know your thoughts, and as always, stay creative!
Much love,Cory | Dreamlab3D
