I came up with an ide with character polls, but I wanted to ask for your opinion beforehand. We have 14 characters for every week, and while we do have a varying amount of votes for every character, at the end there remain a few characters who receive the same amount of votes and I'm left thinking, which ones to choose.

For the next week for example we have 11 characters who got in the upcoming selection, and need 3 more, but we have 7 characters with the same amount of votes. For this problem I've come up with a few ideas so that we can decide who gets featured in the upcoming posts.

1. Idea

My first idea was to include the free members, in a poll directed towards them so that they can participate in some way. Since I'm not allowed to post any explicit content publicly, they have very little to do here, this would give them a small chance to interact with us.

I however prioritize you guys over them, so the poll's would go like this:
I start the character poll on Wednesday, and close it Sunday night as I've done previously. Any character you recommend in the comments will be counted as a vote as well, and any likes on that comment will be counted as additional votes.
If we fill all 14 slots for the upcoming characters without any ties, then the poll is closed and done.

If we however have ties between characters with less votes, then on Monday, I'll start a poll for the free users, to vote for the characters that tied and based on the results, I'll include the most voted characters there to fill up the empty slots.

2. Idea

If we want to keep full control of the upcoming characters then I can start the same voting type I mentioned earlier, but only for paid members, and you will be able to decide between one another who fills up the last remaining slots.

3. Idea

I'll make the poll open for both free and paid members, and then the whole community can vote together on who to include.

4. Idea

We change nothing, and when a tie occurs I'll choose who gets featured in the last slots available
