Updates, changes & plans for 2025 (Patreon)
Content
After the holiday craze, it is finally time to sit down, and write an update for the future.
I would like to thank everyone in advance for the support, while I just started at the end of 2024 we've grown quite a bit since then. After reaching this point at around the end of November, we haven't grown that much, some left, some appeared, but that's just how it is.
A few things I'd like to go over is my changes in the voting system and commissions alike. As of now, I'm working on the two daily commissions meanwhile doing the commission works but it's not a too healthy work schedule. With the prompting, generations, adjustments and then the editing, it takes around 3-4 hours to create a set of 10 images. And doing them twice a day comes to around 6-8 hours of work. Which wouldn't be too bad in itself, but pairing it up with the commissions, I can reach some insane work hours in a day, which is a little too much. This is the main reason behind my slower commission completion times, and the lack of updates on the Patreon (such as the banner, new polls and all).
Polls and uploads
I've recently made the update of having only 1 post on Monday and Tuesday to try and fight against this, and while it sure helped, I'm still a bit behind in commission work as of now. So In order to keep up with the daily 20 posts, and the commissions alike, I'd like to make a few changes on how I'll try to handle future posts starting from next week (2025 January 6.):
Polls will stay weekly, but instead of a 14, we'll have a minimum of 7 chosen characters for the week.
Each day I'll make a post of 1 set featuring a character from the poll.
Commissions will be posted as the second daily upload if the the commission is suitable for Patreon.
If its not suitable, then I'll take the next most voted character on the poll, and do a set with it instead, like I currently do.
Paid commissions (the ones that have been commissioned and paid through other means than Patreon); if I'm allowed to post them here, they'll still be treated as extra content, and will be posted in addition to the daily two sets.
Commissions for a 20 image set will be posted depending on the content. If its made as a single set (one character, connection between pictures, storytelling, etc.) it will be posted as a set, potentially increasing the upload for the day to 30 images (a set of 10, and a set of 20). If the 20 images are not connected in any ways, and are made of 2 different characters, they'll be posted separately.
This should help in streamlining my work better (hopefully) and speeding up commission work, while maintaining the promised daily picture count!
Upcoming
While it might be a little early to mention, I've been also trying to study (couldn't really practice too much due to workload) other exciting things to add to the Page.
Thanks to the help and instructions of an older supporter (you know who you are ;P) I've been learning 2D animation, and would like to add them in the future to the page.
This isn't AI animation, as my PC can't really handle making good ones, but handmade animations using my pictures.
This of course requires quite some work, more so when still learning it, but hopefully I'll be able to steadily learn it with a better work schedule, with a little more time at hand.
While It might be some time you'll see the first animation pop up on my page, I'll try to keep you updated on it, like with my progress in having multiple female characters on an image.
I don't want to sound too ambitious but hopefully we'll even be able to use these animations for some "future projects" so hopefully you'll stick around by the time we get there :P
Feedback
So these are the few things I wanted to tell you all about. Do you think these changes will be good? or will they be bad? If you have any concerns about it, or any questions regarding them, then please share them with me either in the comments, or by DM-ing me, as I can only know if I'm on the right path if I know that what I'm doing is good!
As always, thanks for the support, and have a nice day/night!
