Update (12.23) (Patreon)

Hi there everyone!

I'm right at the finish line in launching the 4k tier, just ran into a little issue to which I'd like to hear your opinion!

When uploading a larger set, Patreon takes some time to process all the images which is not too bad, but it sometimes scrambles the images or drops me an error message and I just have to reupload them again after which it usually works. For the 4K images though the issue is that it takes a lot of time to upload a large set of images, and with the same issues popping up this can exponentially increase the upload time for the set, so in order to fix this issue I'm thinking of uploading only a smaller batch of images here on Patreon (around 20-30) while uploading the entire set on MEGA instead, and I'd share the mega link the same way I've been doing in the recent sets.

Though I'm not sure if everyone would be okay with having to unzip the images each time I post a set so I'm thinking of just uploading the images in a folder so it can be previewed on site without the need of downloading and unpacking them.Only issue with this is that this way each set will take up roughly 2 times as much space on the MEGA directory.

As of now storage space is not that big of an issue and in the past year I've managed to fill up around 17% of the MEGA storage, so I suppose we should be fine for the upcoming ~6 years 😅.

So the question is: Would it be okay if I uploaded only 20-30 images and have the rest on MEGA, or should I try and get the entire set on Patreon?

These changes would apply to 4k sets only as of now, but I found that this method would also give more security from uploading sites which upload all my Patreon content without approval, so I might apply it to the regular sets as well if things get more severe.
