Roza's Life Ver 2.2 Change Log (Patreon)
Content
Here is what has been added:
Three distinguished animations (19 videos / 10 animations)
42 PNGs
A fix for the lockpick bug in the APK version of the game
They are implemented as follows:
1. Fani
A) An SPK scene and a CB scene have been added for her. She will also teach Roza a new skill.
How to activate those scenes:
Roza has to lose to Fani in arm wrestling by a margin of more than 2 wins.
Example:
Roza wins = 06
Fani then needs 08 wins (2 more than Roza).
When Roza wants to play the arm-wrestling minigame again, Fani will offer to fight her.
Roza has to win that fight for the scenes to trigger. (There are no scenes if Roza loses the fight.)
Fani will then teach Roza the new skill Body Slam.
The reason: Fani lost confidence after being defeated by a healer. She gains the courage to challenge Roza again once she notices that she beats Roza more often than she loses to her in arm wrestling.
B) The “Head Grab” skill has been animated for Fani.
2. Roza’s new skill
Works on: Alexandra, Fani, Ruby, Makoto, Sophia, Cataela, Maria
The new skill can be performed on all of the characters listed above.
3. The APK bug
The bug that softlocked the game has been fixed.
The keys needed for the Lockpicking minigame now appear in the APK version.
The same keys also appear in other versions of the game, but they can be turned off.
How to toggle them:
Go to Roza’s house in Zena Village.
Click Enter on that scroll and turn the keys on or off whenever you like.
Important notes
Please keep your Ver 2.1 save files somewhere safe. They will be needed for Ver 2.3.
Old save files will work fine in Ver 2.2.
Old save files from the APK version cannot be transferred to any other version.
My thoughts
Thank you for your patience. I hope you like this update.
I treated this release like a WIP post (my version of one), but in a playable state. The reason is that many features this event still lacks are missing — for example, player control of Roza during SPK, an option for Roza to refuse the fight, scenes for when Roza loses to Fani, and more.
I find it hilarious how many animations a single event needs to feel good or worth playing, but I don’t mind the work if the end result is worth it.
I will publish another release next month (October) to finish as much of this event as I can. I will not work on a standalone animation in October.
About the dungeon:
I will focus on it over the next 2 to 4 updates — polishing gameplay, adding new animations and conversation, and balancing some monsters against Roza.
If you disagree with this approach, please tell me.
In the end, I hope you are doing well and I wish you the best.
Thank you for your continued support.
As always, have a nice day.
