JaH ref - ELMA (Patreon)

Elma time! She's the head mender, medic, of pier cats. She's 4-5 years old. She's very upbeat and high-energy, and one could think such a bright and nice cat could get spooked easily. But Elma has seen a lot of things during her time as the mender, and those things have toughened her up to the point she's able to chill her feelings to work at full capacity. She's very efficient and a bit workaholic, almost always available on her little clinic in the pier house. While she's very nice sober, too much catnip makes her a little confrontational. There are couple of other menders working under her, and even her old mentor is still helping around.

While Elma works solely at the pier, there's a bigger 'mender's guild' of some sort in the city's glasshouse. It's where the menders study, and it works as the city's little hospital. Yes, there are other colonies in the city aside from pier cats. They're all part of the same system.
