We continue on the path of mercy...

Even though a lot about them was left unsaid, Prue and Gitta's roles were expanded way more than they were in the early plans.

Antaras lähti irti niinsanotusti kaikista itsehillinnän henkseleistä...

x_ember_o

The question now is... does he know they were innocent or is this just an excuse to be rid of them once and for all?

Tholfbutt

Rip in pepperonis 🥲

Katie

Goodbye to the mean girls, they (probably) didn't deserve that.

Mistclaw

God, that 4th panel is so hauntingly beautiful...poor girls...

Steven Marshall

Yeah they might have been massive assholes to Usma but I still can't help but feel really bad for them. No drawn out argument or torture, just alive one second and dead the next. I honestly find this outcome far more terrifying than a hypothetical meltdown from Antaras that results in them getting brutally murdered. This presents him in a far more cold and ruthless light rather than just making him petulant manchild whose prone to outbursts whenever something goes wrong.

mmfris

Poor girls... I know they're mean but as far as we know they didn't do anything wrong aside from being a-holes to Usma. I can't help but feel bad for them. Now I wonder if Antaras really felt suspicious of them or if this is merely a quick way to get rid of them.

Diznits

whatever it takes to justify his actions. that's our antaras! /lh but real talk: i'm certain antaras was just looking for whatever excuse he could find that isn't just "they're too much of a liability if i let them leave now. they'll tell everyone what i'm doing" because it might sound selfish and monstrous in his head. if he convinces himself that they killed helevise, he can at least _pretend_ they were potential threats to him and usma. at least that's my take! bc definitely just letting them leave when they have the knowledge that antaras literally has two gods imprisoned would cause more problems for him. antaras is just trying to convince himself he's not a mafia boss

Marissa Statler

With every crime his chances of redemption grow thinner and thinner... They might have been cruel to Usma but not even they deserved this.

Muuki

I'll always forget about the update on Thursday, so I'm extra happy when I see the notification <3 Sorry, I love Antaras. He stays my favorite no matter what:B

M0N5T3R5

Well like they have been helping helevise like of course their scent is gunna be on her? I think it was the bi colored antler fella dousa that might have done it?

Juno

He makes me so angry. I love him as a character but there's so justification for what he's doing. He's beyond redemption at this point and the bodies are only piling up. How many more characters have to die at his hands (or hooves) before he finally understands the gravity of what he's truly doing? How many more warnings is he going to get? A part of me thinks he understands but he simply doesn't care because the end goal is for the fawn. But imagine growing up with the burden of knowing that your father ruined the lives of many, many people. But that's only if war doesn't tear up the world.

SimplyBones

Ouh... that innocent look as Loss charges straight for them... that is such a painfully good panel....

Jelly Faun

that is the amazing thing about a villain. they are still awesome characters even if you loathe them

Alex

Just a prick on a power trip.

Robo87

Wait are they Antaras’ daughters too? They call him Sire as Usna does, or is it just a title from them?

Kwelve

No, they're not. They're not even northerners, they called him Sire because it's his role, like Rokkus or Volhos.

Kwelve

Love the pannel they are with Loss. They don't look afraid or terrified, just curiosity and surprised. Just like a true callers. Rest in peace, mean girls <3

Stavia

And they never found out they bullied his daughter. /lh Makes me wonder, what other things might’ve happened had they survived. Would they have grown, become more considerate and kinder? Or would they just double down on being mean girls and bullies? Now we’ll never know. THANKS Antares. /sarcasm

antaras very much seems like someone who feels the ends justify the means. he's shot down the concerns of usma with the assertion that "it's not forever." his goals are self serving to the core and he's convinced himself that they're not. i can't wait to see his arc; it's gonna be so good fr
