For a while I tought that Eve is a animated version of Antarases mate (I dont know...) but damn so if that is treu when they find war does that mean that Nero becomes one with him as well? A so many questions also Usma tough watching her dad becom a monster ;-;

Damn that smirk by Eve is creepy. Is she smirking because of Prue and Gitta, or because she saw that Usma saw it? I'm guessing it's the latter. Also Usma just seems more resigned than surprised, has Antaras killed other deer in front of her before? I'm worried if Antaras is either going to try and defend himself (i.e. your typical "I did what I had to do" speech) or is he gonna turn on his daughter and question if she is against him too? Another absolutely gorgeous page btw, I could easily see this story being an actual graphic novel in a comic store, it's that beautiful and well written.

Ok I agree with literally everything people said but the pose Antara has in the last panel...stalking towards Usma. That itself rings alarm bells and I am so glad Usma got out of there. Poor Usma... She didn't deserve to see that.

OUGH YEAH ACTUALLY. i can imagine using a god's power comes with consequences. imagine if eve is seeing antaras become more bloodthirsty- more consumed by loss's power, or perhaps loss is slowly feeding on antaras- sucking away his life in the way antaras uses loss to do the same to others

Eve was easily tempted she probably finds alot of this very amusing since my belief is she seemed to have been quite bored with things as they were, Antaras using the power of loss considerably frequently is just a fun little part of the soap opera eve is apart of rn because she is likely very aware of how it is effecting usma and how usma might be considering defection I don't even think eve really cares if antaras succeeds or not she's here to see what happens and what lengths he will go to achieve them She remembers a time when deer were just like empty headed guys running around and then like dying War came along and made things so much more interesting, I don't think just daddy deer god was enjoying what war brought to the deer

Antaras' eye still has a dark ring around it in the third panel even tho he (presumably?) turned off loss' power... i wonder if it's gonna be a permanent thing... like the more he uses the power, the more corrupted he becomes, both physically and mentally

Man this page hits so hard without words or sound effects... Eve's smirk is so subtle yet tells everything about what she thinks about the situation, even if I'm unsure why she is exactly so amused. I guess she is still mad for Antaras and this is just great drama. Also I absolutely love the man's mane on this page, the wind gives it justice!

Absolutely love it when gods of a world get portrayed with that ambiguity that would come with being immortal and detached from the rules that mortals have to live under. I definitely get the impression Eve was bored and this is all a fun show for her (being the one that brings life does not mean her personality will be benevolent, after all, it's just her job), though that does make me wonder if Loss being fully contained within the ring means it isn't as on board or enthused with the recent unfoldings as its sister is. Can't wait to see what War thinks of all of it.

not me rereading the entire comic again just to check, eves curling ears is so eerie…. i wonder if loss is slowly corrupting or controlling antras, theres no way theyre gonna be fully contained in that ring. antras seemed a lot more calm and rational earlier on, but hes being billionaire levels of blatantly evil. or maybe antras is just a really good sans undertale cosplayer idk lmao
