On one hand: Their elders are decaying before they are dying On the other hand: I don't think it's too unreasonable for their fear to take over and for them to want to deny the reality of things. We know from the Stonekrovn that it's possible to kill the elders to put them out of their misery, but they won't pass on without that help-- but I don't imagine any of the other herds would even think of killing a loved one, even if it would be the merciful thing to do.

There really just is no talking to others. X.x dont ask for help or word if all you wanna hear is what you want to hear, what's comfortable. The person hates you if they dont tell you the hard truth.
