Mercy, to take the life of those wanting to go, rather than those unwilling. Could learn a thing or two here, Andy

NikuComics

Heck yeah. But was it on pupose that it looks like Silent princess from Zelda?

Takaani

I really like this side story. Often when we think about eternal life and never dying, we don't really understand what that's like when your body is already old. And being able to die is a dignity for someone who's lived a full life and can't enjoy it any longer.

Just a flower brush from CSP asset store

Sweet Ira, shouldering this heavy burden so the herd doesn’t have to kill their family member. I’m glad that the sweet old ladies understand. Also, kudos to the one-eyed lady’s mom for protecting her daughter.

Mistclaw

Aw, poor baby. At least he'll be at peace though 💔

Jelly Faun

Ira <3 I think a little bit of pain will bring so so much peace. Poor old hart. <3 Also that third panel of the old gals just sitting and chatting peacefully makes me feel so calm, may be one of my favourite panels since Antaras pulled Loss out of the ring. Also if that eye removal was done with cruel intent, I love that doe's mum for punishing her father

Terror

I imagine the pain from the flower will be little compared to the suffering and agony he's probably been experiencing for years now.. It might even bring him some comfort.. Knowing that pain will finally end all others.

Spiritstrike

Mercy, a powerful gift and a true blessing for this poor old fella, bless Iralee

Waikku

Grandma casually dropping crazy family lore 😭 Poor Iralee, must feel awful giving poison to someone already in pain. But it's merciful, unlike Big Fluffy leaving a line of corpses after him...

Jewell H

It won't be painless, but he's already in pain. At least it will only be temporary this way.

Tholfbutt

I see the shooting star and can think of several reasons for its symbolism. Whether or not they’re they reasons Ratt intended, well… we shall see. And if I’m reading too much into that, we shall also see! Ira, you kind soul.

Robo87

*stares suspiciously at the shooting star*

I love the contrast of iralee's mercy of poisoning a suffering old man who can't die vs antaras' "mercy" of killing the blue doe mourning her mate who was also just killed by antaras for trying to bring back their dead fawn. It shows how different iralee and antaras are and I think that's beautiful.
