There is so much pent up hurt in her words, I am glad she managed to safely let it out a bit. Also, I like the detail of Bones’ ears folding back differently than the other deer (and the blep of course). And Nero facing away from her, but ears turned towards her to listen in the last panel. Love how you do the body language, it conveys so much.

I'm loving how everyone is looking at Usma in the last panel, letting her in. But then there's Nero, going ahead, *not* looking at her cuz that's how he is and he's probably a lot more shaken up at being absolutely goddamn humbled like that than he wants to admit in any way. I also caught that word usage of chirping/chirp in the last couple pages. I'm assuming that's a callback to how Antaras called her 'Dove' and I find it super good honestly. Love subtle weaving of dialogue like that.

Usma's face in the 5th (or 4th if we don't count the Usma yelling one hahaha) her eyeees aaawww adorable. My poor girl, I love youu so muuuch. Also I adore soooo much the ''himself, our memories'' this girl still cares so much about her papa aaa T___T

I love how kasko and Nero are the only 2 actually bristled from how startled they are at being shouted at. Then there's bones, who seems more intrigued by it? Or showing submission?

I'm wondering that too, though dogs will show only front teeth when doing it. My border collie does it often, as she's a very nervous and overly pleasing in personality
