Her pupils are...way too big. She's dead, isn't she.

Rutaceae

Not a thought behind those eyes

Spiritstrike

Is that why he has Loss captured in the ring? To prevent him from taking his mate until Eve has her calf? O.O

RainDewDroplet

Not only that, but there's no gleam whatsoever. No light left in her eyes. The dull look is a common way to show death.

Silfnix

Commence ugly crying 😭 UUHHGGHGGG

Silfnix

Her lips are slack too. UHG even though it was suspected it hurts to see it

Jelly Faun

Oh nooooo. here come the water works.

Luyene

They definitely drew her in a perfect way that gives an unnerving "not there" vibe that tells us what happened without explicitly saying it. ;-;

The last two pages were very unsettling. These gods are very unnatural, and behave so oddly. I love how you convey such discomfort.

Kifo entiegon

wait, so Eve is in control of Ant's dead mate's body?

My theory here is that this doe (presumably Antaras' deceased mate) died while carrying their fawn, which would be a double-loss for Antaras. I am wondering if he sort of "begged" for divine intervention in that moment. I remember the seer said that Eve was the first star to come down "quietly", and then Loss was lured down. Perhaps Antaras' promised Eve something in return if she could save the baby? And I am guessing for Eve to save the baby, Loss had to be removed from the picture since he's essentially the Grim Reaper, AKA him being imprisoned in the ring. Without Loss, then perhaps the fawn had a chance of surviving with Eve intervening somehow. But that of course, begs the question of what Antaras had to promise Eve to make that happen.

Lightning Chaser

Loss came first, eve fell lured. War came last

A villain who does what he does for love, is the most tragic kind of villainy.

Idk if she's still alive but the third pannel, where they hug, it's so warm and kind <3 you can sense a lot of feelings in that only pannel (and the detail of his fur throught the ring aah)
