I love Ouida's face in both the first and fourth panel so much. What a cutie she was. So the theory is that Oudia told Antaras during this march that she's pregnant, they become even happier, but then tragedy strikes and Ouida either dies, or nearly dies at the march. Antaras is so grief stricken he uses his title as god caller to beg the gods to save Ouida and their fawn? Question is, was him merely asking the stars enough or did they ask something in return of him? What was it that made Antaras "special" enough that Eve and Loss abandoned the sky just to "help" him? How did Helevise come into the picture? Finding all this out is gonna be really interesting for sure.

Antaras looks like the gentlest, kindest husband and father... not justifying him, but what he suffered to arrived at the state he is now... And Usma!??? The guiltness she must to suffer??? My poor one ;__; But have to add, I adore the detail that we never see Antaras hating or blaming Usma for this decision (still???)
