If the next page isn't called Loss.jpeg I'm gonna be upset 🤣

AdventureLemon

I wonder if he pulled both Loss and Eve at the same time or was it first one then the other? And what was Eve’s promise to him? This chapter has been a rollercoaster, can’t wait to see more of the story!

Clare Kirtley

Usma voiced it in an earlier page where she states "No Antaras nothing will ever be the same..." that shit hits so much harder now knowing all the things she saw her father do its insane poor girl really went trough allot.

Something so genuinely fascinating about this idea of being able to call the gods, and what that truly means, this horror that's gone to bed in recent ages so no one really respects how utterly terrifying a mortal can be when so close to the divine. I dig it so much

Robo87

“I can’t remember the last time I saw you smile” I WONDER WHY ANTARAS

Stavia

Alright whomever taught Antares how to talk to wolves and eat halv skulls to summon the eldritch gods stand up right now

I think there's a lot you could say about this chapter so far, but Usma has really been living the harsh reality many children face when they grow up and learn of the many masks their parents wear. To her, Antaras was - and still is - her father. She loves him, and I don't doubt he loves her in the only way he knows how to love. But she's also having to tell this story she's carried with her and reconcile the father she loves with the deer who has torn the world apart and committed a great many atrocities in the name of love and grief. She's seen it, she has walked with him, she cannot turn away from what has happened. I really love that she is not just grieving her mother and unborn sibling, but also the warmth and safety of the father she knew.
