So that is “the place” Usma mentioned in the main comic. This was such a beautiful little family. 😭 seeing Antaras here, you would never know what he’s capable of, and how complex of a character he is. I am happy that at least we can see a happy and carefree little Usma ❤️

I dont be sure but i think now ( current story not their past ) Antaras and Eve goes to the ‘Place’ maybe he want to bring Oudia there one last time or wanna she gave birth there… page 77 says ‘ we will be our way again’ shes now highly pregnant and its risk to back to north now… sorry for my english

Something tells me that something much, much worse has happened to Antares before Oudia’s death and the massacre. It’s tragic irony to hear him tell Usma that deerkind tries their best to be kind. Maybe Oudia was trying to him that when they met? And in turn he’s trying to teach Usma the same? Regardless, the moment his wife and unborn child died was the last shred of hope he ever had in believing in others.
