It's interesting that Loss' words are colored blue while Eve's words are red (even followed by red, blood-like taint), normally it'd be the other way around with the gods of Life and Death, and yet Eve here is portrayed as the more sinister one between them. And her design is gonna be goth-like?? Gosh it's gonna be so interesting to see her.

My initial vibe for them was Loss being a deep cold sea (blue) that you eventually fall into, and Eve being the lifeblood and flesh (red). With Eve I really wanted to avoid the green imagery as it's often associated with deities of life, bringing life to plants and such!

I am shaking for next week. Eve reminds me of life in the way that fire is life- burning hot, blazing, destructive at times but necessary, passionate. She doesn't seem to be alive the way a leaf is alive, more like how a wolf on the hunt is alive.

I'm curious why he believes Eve will keep the fawn alive after birth. Previous to this flashback, I assumed Eve was keeping the mother's body alive so that the baby (still alive) could develop to term, but we see that they both died in the storm. She's removed her light from the two birds right after the demonstration, so I would think she'd do the same here. Very interested to see how this scene goes!

It seems like he has some kind of pull over her that the ones that lost their birds would not have had, so maybe that comes into play here

She has antlers on her neck ( like necklace ) it show on page 130 where Iralee talks about Karuna children its only silhouette but still (Loss was correct :3 )
