The girls are bonding!! I love how their halvs are so connected (them locking feet when they met, Silver comforting Hoot after Usma came bedraggled into the group, and now flying so close together). It just seems that Silver and Hoot are drawn to each other, and in that way so are Usma and Runi. Romantic or platonic it makes me think that their destinies are entwined in more ways then one

Random question: what happens if a Halv kills another Halv? Usma's is an owl after all, and could easily take out the songbirds. Or is it a case of like recognizing like and they don't hunt one another?

I can see Nero eventually coming around. Slowly, but surely. A part of me kinda ships Nero and Usma lol They would seem cute together, and the "brooding boy falling for gentle girl" trope never gets old to me xD For a MxM ship, I can also kinda see him and Kasko as a pair too.

i've always imagined it's like... all halves are birds, but not all birds are halves! especially since iirc ratt said only flighted birds could be halves, so i betcha it's totally possible that there are normal birds hanging around that have nothing to do with deer!
