Fielders spotted! Tbh I feel like stonekrovns being considered deer is vastly debatable in GS world, and even krovns might not see the kinship. Runi is very into the "if you have a bird friend we must be the same". No true answers here.

I'm with runi. You don't see rabbits out here with bird buddies, sounds like a deer trait to me! 👍🏾

Okay, does anyone else imagine bone with a Russian accent or just me-?

I feel like it would be a fairly straightforward argument to explain that inclustionist thinking to a bigoted deer. Example being: "If our god gave us halvs because we are its children and also gave the krovns halvs then the god must consider the krovns /also/ its children and I'm not going to tell the god that I know better than that" granted anyone who's tried having that kind of conversation with a bigot in real life can probably parrot back what the negative response was but theeeeere is the unfortunate part of trying to be a decent person

... I just realized that Bones is looking at something off-panel and licking his lips. Runi might be about to eat her words.

I kind of always imagined some variety of Slavic accent, too, yeah!

They're like spiders - kinda scary, but they'll eat the critters you don't want. With spiders it's flies, with krovns it's pesky things like other carnivores :D

The stonekrovns speak the same language as the rest of deerkind (if slightly accented), so that's a fair indication they're deer to me. We don't see the deer speak to rabbits or squirrels, and it's been established deer and wolves (and other "beasts" I assume) speak very different languages that are not easily learned by the other.
