Okay so the comic was loosely inspired by a podcast where people could send their (allegedly) real life horror stories about meeting creeps and getting away from them. One of them came from a woman that had been on a camping trip with her friend. They saw a group of guys driving past their campsite, and later in the night the same guys ended up hoisting a deer over the women's tent. Luckily they were sleeping in their car instead of the tent but goddamn.

That, and pictures of roadkills with words sprayed on them. That's where this comic comes from.
