I get tons of comments like "haahaa Nero's all talk and gonna get his ass kicked" but I sadly have to burst that bubble because he's hands down the most tactical fighter of this lot. Kasko and especially Bones are really strong and but lack in combat know-how for various reasons, which is something Nero is very into on top of being a fit boy.

the panel of antaras in the north is stunning. i also adore this banter between the boys. i am glad their relationship seems a little healthier these days at least. :D

I think the reason I thought Nero might be a lot of talk is because of how easily Dousa took him down in the ring. Now, it just shines a light on how skilled Dousa is.

Is that why Bones seems to be, more prickly? He thought he could easily overpower and win and he had to work on being able to stand his ground with Nero?

Okay hear me out…I *still* think if Nero fought Antares as they are now (and with no gods or instadeath cheat), that Nero would get his ass handed to him XD I mean beyond killing the wolf and sparring the only real fight he’s been in was with Bones and his pack and it was literally by the grace of god they weren’t killed

Fr tho, where did all this tactical know how come from. Every fight he’s been in “on screen” has ended with him getting beat. Bones even knocked him unconscious effortlessly.. Wished we at least get to see the fight in a bonus comic, cuz I seriously not understanding how Nero is the tactical fighter.

It's his literal hobby he's very into in form of sparring. A real fight with death and danger involved + protecting others is still extremely different. I'm not saying he's the best around, but he's not hot air either.
