I really adore Antaras and I love how emotional he is despite trying to play it cool and pretend he isn’t up to this point. Having lost his god caller status he probably doesn’t realize that his beloved star can’t speak without Karuna hearing her. I bet that’s part of why she’s so mad at Antaras. He SHOULD know why she’s effectively mute but he goes and makes it all about him and his feelings and then spits bile at her as if she’s only doing it to spite him. Her silence could very well be the reason Karuna didn’t tell Nero about an yet unborn demigod child. Perhaps he doesn’t even know. I love the suspense and I love Antaras being an over dramatic baby.
