Sorry but we need a POV change! These girls might be mean and salty but they were also conned. 😤 And it seems like there's some major things lost when you lose your halv. Have I mentioned enough that GS' genre is fantasy

Waikku

Jfc. Now I feel bad for them.

Katie

I'm not even religious and the term "god-caller" is so cool, damn.

Givemeyourmilk

I wonder why helevise would even take them under her teaching and lie to them in the first place? Edit: i also remembered her own bird was mentioned to have died. Is she no longer a caller?

GammelGaedda

Piglets,,, suids are canon in GS lore? that makes me very happy,,,,,,,,,ANYWAY,,,, I’m glad to see Helevise again! She’s a fun character, the mean old boomer,,,

rattGS

Sure! Just no domesticated ones.

rattGS

In GS' unwritten lore it's a somewhat common practice for god-callers to take students to make sure religion lives even after they're dead. Apparently at some point Helevise grew to the conclusion that these two weren't fit for it and just kept them around to do her errands. And yeah, she's technically not a god-caller anymore! But she sure is loud enough to demand keeping her title.

Ollieosa

I love all this new lore! I feel a little bad for the girls but not too much cuz they’re still needlessly bitches

Soltori

im so so curious as to what her motives are, and how they align with eves (if at all) i was wondering about her halv being dead but i saw that got answered, good to know

Spiritstrike

Wow, this was a wake up call for those two ladies. Kind of feel bad for them.

Givemeyourmilk

Oh, that makes sense! And yeah, based on have you've shown us they act I can see why she might reconsider.

Magpeye

Lol owned by crotchety old preacher woman

Weirdo Prime

Love me some lore! nom nom nom

Grey

I wonder, would their refusal to kill their halves have changed Helevise’s mind?

Bad Juju

Kind of explains why they’re so bitter towards the others

TropiCat212

that's my theory! she was testing them :)
