"Loudkill" reminds me of "Swiftkill" the wolf from Blackblood Alliance, haha. Good to see Nero is awake and conscious after all. Time to pull the "I'm friends with God and I'm telling on you if you hurt us" card. (Although as Ratt implied earlier, Karuna might just be watching this in amusement already). Also congratz on nearly reaching 200 pages!!

Her calling the dead buck "enemy" and questioning the group about being his potential allies makes me think of that earlier page where she told the buck that she remembers how last spring he had stones, implying he was brave/boisterous in the past (and now he isn't)... Could they be at war with some other herd? And the dude was a scout from an opposing group/herd who got caught? Dunno, but it's fun to theorize. Can't wait to see how this unfolds! Great page as always :)

Her language here makes me curious if there was motive behind the method of execution beyond pure sadism. Maybe the buck and his pals were doing some crushing of their own? Wild theory but I wonder if because they were returning in the spring, they were targeting new fawns.

I truly doubt that's the reason why Loudkill kill him. This comic even it's about deers, they're not feral animals, even the stones are rational. I truly doubt Ratt puts something like males h*rassing females only with the excuse ''they're in heat'' I don't know haha a lot of people have that theory and for me, it doesn't fit in this comic that a group of males tries to h*rass females. I think it's something worse, in relation with Karuna's religion or the fact Eve and Loss are kidnapped by Antaras

Really curious of what dead pretty guy did to incite such wrath. Also I absolutely love the naming structure for the stonekrovn family dynamic. The chapter name 'broken jaw' now feels like it's making a lot more sense now, outside of in the literal sense.
