Maybe it's me, because it's obvious Boneslav still doesn't trust our main and he's uncomfortable, but I feel like he has a soft side towards Runi (probably because she's like him respect their feelings towards family??) I hope they get along soon, but I like the realism of ''you were a kin who killed my children, so don't expect still my friendship'' <3

Not exclusively wolves though, that'd be nuts. They're just able to hunt and digest them alongside of regular prey animals, just choosing not to eat deer.

It seems that Karuna holds a lot of weight in Stonekrovn culture. So much that Boneslav is willing to leave his beloved family and join up with the deer that he's been wary of his entire life, just to see the will of the Moon and Tongue be done. There is of course the fact that he's helping his family by doing this (preventing stillbirths and allowing elders to die peacefully). It's just so interesting! Also, nice touch with Bones licking his lips when he's nervous, like dogs do.

And we end with that tension and distance still in place, though they know more about each other now. Still, a little easier introduction that Kasko had with sharind his background.... Man I'm looking forward to seeing kinda challenges the squad is gonna be dealing with. It's getting to be quite the crew.

Does Boneslav lip lick as a submissive or self comforting behavior/stem? I noticed he does so often.

I feel like bonding will come with difficult circumstances. I could see Bone liking the gang more when he sees how they care for each other (including him) when in danger, and the bravery they all can display.
