As one of my wealthy parents’ plus ones..My sister and I do not get anything for Christmas or our birthdays. Growing up, my grandmother had us visit an assisted living facility every Christmas to pass out gifts to patients. She also had us frequently volunteer at the St. Francis center (facility for the unhoused) and made sure we understood that we were no better than anyone in that room. Also, if you’re wealthy you do not announce to anyone about the expensive the things you have because it’s tacky and rude. Additionally, absolutely no one I know has fake anything. Secondhand maybe, fake absolutely not.

omg Jessi if you’re looking to upgrade your jeans, go to Madewell. I was stuck in the skinny jeans grasp until I went there. It made me realize the target and old navy skinny jeans are not built for the human body lmao. Madewell jeans fit like BUTTER. They are way pricier, but are worth paying double for jeans that last! They use a different sizing system that has more increments than the typical women’s sizes at other stores.

One idea — you could do 1 bonus single topic video like this, and 1 bonus video that’s personal to you like the rewatches / pet peeves etc, each month. Good balance there for everyone’s interests and might make it easier to plan for. Also: for Jenny Nicholson’s Patreon vids, the highest tier suggests topics and then all tiers vote. Could also implement something like this for both video types — then you guys don’t have to spend time deciding on topics / concepts, you’re catering what you do to the interests of the Patreon audience.

it depends on the style for sure but id absolutely say their pockets just fit the pants better on Madwell jeans. I couldn’t keep my phone my my pocket with my previous target skinny jeans because the placement would cause any movement to push my phone out, but that doesn’t really happen on my Madewell jeans (I have an iPhone 13 mini for reference) One pair the pockets are completely on the front, so they’re smaller. But the black jeans I have, they have the typical side opening pockets and it goes down so deep it reaches my wrist. I sound like I’m sponsored lmao but ugh they’re life changing. I’ve worn mine everyday since getting them on sale during Black Friday 🤣

I love the bonus episodes, but the messaging on this episode was confusing. Those fake rich girls are vapid and annoying, but you went in on them for 40 minutes because they faked being rich. They pretended fake stuff was real. Then you played the video at the end where the YT girl (I don't watch them) admitted to basically faking and staging everything and you were cool with that and accepted it as standard practice. The 2 instances IMO are pretty similar. They're both people faking for views and clout. I guess I don't understand why one is so much more egregious than the other.

That's true, but both instances also made people feel bad about their own lives (which was a big reason why the girlies went off about those TikTok girls). Because it was a YouTube channel, I don't think that viewers were looking at it as a tv show with all that entails so they would see it as reality and feel inferior (like in the other instance). I can see your point, but they still feel very similar both in intent and actions IMO.

I think that when the girl who was showing the real Chanel shoes said “imprinted” she meant “engraved”. The white ones had the logo stitched on - which looked so nice, aesthetically speaking.
