I'd rather the Ash coverage be like an extra episode or something. Making her the main topic all the time is platforming someone truly vile. If I cared about her podcast appearance I'd have watched it and I'm sure there are plenty of people that feel the same way. There has to be new drama/new people that haven't been covered. I have been skipping, that's the thing. Just seeing her name constantly is upsetting. I wasn't around for the defnoodles thing but he's annoying, not triggering. Tbh, you're calling me and one other person extreme and saying we're overreacting but you don't know us. Jessie and lily emphasize that they want to hear from the patreon and that we are the voice of the community. Its not like they covered her twice. It feels like it's every week that they have either covered her or tried to. Triggers aren't just "oh this thing is annoying" it's a genuine trigger. You cannot be both of the mindset that you do what you need to for your mental health AND that the two of us are overreacting.

You're right that they want to hear from Patreon but the topic did win, unfortunately. Again, I think it's fair to not like it but I don't think it's very cool to then say that you'll leave if they follow what 47% of votes asked for. At the end of the day, it is what it is ig.

Its not a threat, it's feedback. They chose the topics that went on the poll. Further, I give them money. No one is entitled to keep getting my money. If someone was hurt by a priest and something about catholic priests kept getting covered, would you think that person was "threatening" them for saying "hey this is so triggering I need to leave." It's genuinely insulting that you made a comment about how we need to chill when the topic is so triggering and you already know that.

For me, its triggering, but I think for other people its like this. I love the joker from batman. He's a fun character. Why does he have to be in everything everytime. In 9 weeks, 6 episodes have had ash's name in the title. In several other episodes, they mention her and there have been a couple episodes where they tried to get to her but couldn't. I'm honestly not sure there has been an episode since they started covering her where they didn't at least mention her.

I can understand that. I don’t consume her content on TikTok and DWKT is where I first heard about her, so it’s where I get any updates on what’s going on her situations. She’s just so problematic that it’s always something going on with her so I can see why there’s always an update. I just don’t care to give her content my view much rather give it to DWTK or another source! But I do understand she can be triggering for some and the constant eps about her can become draining. It was becoming draining for me when they were covering the Def noodles stuff every other ep😭

Its wild you think skipping the video has never occurred to me. I do that whenever needed. Its been pretty much everything episode that ash or someone related to her is at least mentioned. In the last 8 weeks, 6 episodes have been about her. Even if she didn't trigger me, it's getting tiresome. That said, she does and a trigger isn't just "oh if I actually watch an hour of ash content I'll be upset so ty for warning me." When something is a trigger, just the trigger warning can trigger you. It's my time and my money. Idk why it bothers you that I don't want to give it to places that trigger me. Hope you aren't bothered by trump winning because guess what? He won the majority vote so by your logic, you don't get to be bothered by anything because a majority of people voted for it.

Yknow, as interesting as it has been to hear about Ash, I think we have to stop talking about her at some point. Hopefully everyone will. It won’t stop her from seeking attention, but her poor children have no say in what she’s putting out about them nor others commentary and how far this embarrassment is extending. I’d love to lay it to rest personally and hopefully see her die off (not in a literal RIP way ofc).
