Hey girlies! We know there was a slight uproar with us not covering Ash trevino last week lol but LET US EXPLAIN....

We have ALWAYS honored the poll results. This is the first time we haven't and it was solely due to the large amount of you who vocalized NOT wanting to see Ash be covered. So, while the ash topic did win, it was also a rare instance where the winning topic was controversial enough that we felt it was impossible to overlook the amount of people asking us not to cover her.

That being said - please understand that under normal circumstances, the poll results WILL be honored as we enjoy having patrons get to choose our Friday topics! So rest assured the winner will be covered on Friday lol LOVE YA OK BYE

sorry to hear yall got backlash. but it's a respectable decision because it's true that the more attention she gets, the more she'll thrive and she's an evil person who deserves to be forgotten. Maybe a condensed 10 minute update/discussion the moving forward stop covering her? The girlie's always have timestamps so it would be easily skipable.

I do get their intentions and I am genuinely not at all trying to be mean I genuinely love this podcast so much. I just feel like if the special circumstance for choosing not to cover the winning topic is the people who didn’t vote for it saying they don’t want to see it then that could potentially happen for every single poll. Like I said I do get their intention I just wish they had handled it a little differently such as still covering it but then asking everyone if they’re tired of it and don’t want to see it anymore or even possibly making it a patreon members only episode

Agreed, I feel like if the majority of paying subs want to hear about it something it should be honored. That's the whole point of a vote. If whatever other folks had wanted to hear about won and then got vetoed because the minority complained they'd probably be complaining then too.

That's kind of the problem with polls when there are more than 2 options. They aren't as accurate. 41% of people voted for ash. That means 59% voted for something else. What they voted for just wasn't the top vote. So in reality more people actually DIDN'T want to see Ash.

It also feels like to me that they (h3) are in a controversy every week. I watch Adam's videos on it because of him attacking Adam personally so that's how I know everything that's going on. I think it shouldn't for the big reason being that for the last several months people have forgotten that Justin Bieber is a person. Honestly people seem to forget that all the time. But with the Diddy and people demanding to know if he was SA'd. Obviously nobody knows but not only have people been demanding a story after he already said he is focusing on his son and doesn't want to really say anything right now. Then Jaguars Wright someone who used to be friends with Diddy has been going on platforms and saying he was sexually abused and talking about it so disgusting. If she's lying the things she said are disgusting. If there's any truth in what she said about what may or may not have happened to Justin Bieber as minor, also super disgusting. People already feel he's going through it and with how people have been for the last several months I think people should just leave the Biebers alone right now. Especially since some of the things drama channels have reported on him are just dumb and then you got this clout goblin talking about the potential of child S.A in a despicable way.

I get why they didn't wanna talk about her- but it should have never been an option if they wouldn't. People have the right to feel upset that they didn't get a perk they pay for.

I only know about the wombat lady and am totally fine not hearing about it. Animal abd child discomfort and abuse are huge triggers for me. So I would LOVE to hear about anything else, especially when I don't know about the other 3.

I understand why you didn't cover Ash, but I also saw a fair amount of people saying they didn't want Rosanna either, so it didn't really seem fair to take into consideration those who didn't want Ash, but not the people who didn't want Rosanna. Personally, I felt like the Rosanna update could have been a 5-10 min mini 3rd topic. Full transparency, I didnt want either - I voted for the bidet scam (and I still want to hear about it, especially since i haven't seen it anywhere else)! One thing I really liked about this podcast is that you have covered a lot of fun, quirky stories, instead of always doing the same things every other commentary channel. Although, I can appreciate that the girlies' have their own takes, so their coverage isn't exactly the same. I also totally understand having at least one episode for the Escape the Night situation, and even an update episode, but it was disappointing to see a 3rd one. All of that to say - II don't know what the "right" solution is in a situation like this is. Maybe the girlies should just pick Friday topics, and Patreon members can vote on what they want to see in the Patreon exclusive episodes.

41% of the vote was for ash. That means 59% of pateron members voted for anything OTHER than ash. So technically ash won percent wise but individual number wise ash lost. Maybe the solution is to split the poll with two topics on each. And winners of those polls then go against each other so a more accurate representation of the vote is available.

Listening to the comments over a system you set up is actually crazy. I already understood that you normally do, but you didn’t because of comments this clears up nothing. If the comments did not want Ashely Trevino, rally your besties in the chat to vote or don’t watch that segment. I don’t get what the overall hate on hearing/talking about Ash is but I am not going back to name specific examples but we have covered abuse on this channel and the such. Why not ash? Is it her clear poverty and willing to do anything for a dollar? Or just that it is currently happening? I’m confused. All that being said, I’m super disappointed and I’m not resubbing. I’m ready for the snarky “good” comments and the such, but it’s only sad I never thought I’d ever care about something this much online. That just technically means 59% of people didn’t have ash as their top choice not that they desperately wanted anything other than ash. Yes all 59% could’ve been people who would rather never see ash again but it could have also been people like me who usually have two topics that they’d really like to see but they have to only pick one. I truly believe the comments were an accurate representation of the people tired of ash and that was only 200 people compared to the 1000ish people that voted her as their top choice.

Out of the 20+ polls they’ve respected all except for 1. I’m not sure why some of yall are saying that you don’t even feel like voting or like you don’t trust them anymore. It was a one time thing about a person that is so disgusting to cover and that the more attention she gets the worse it gets. I voted for Ash, but honestly the 1-2 minute recap Jessi gave us on the Friday episode caught me up on everything I was curious about. I was okay we didn’t get a full deep dive on it. I wonder if there’s a way to vote for the length of the topic we want too? Or to ask for more details because sometimes I have no idea what the other topics mean so I have to scroll in the comments and hope somebody will explain more.

There have been topics I haven't been interested in that won so I didn't watch! Because everything doesn't need to be what I want everytime, other people have things they wanna see, and im cool with that. But whining and throwing a fit in the comments and killing it for all the other paying subs who did vote for it is annoying and makes it seem like you think what you want is more important than the 1200 other people who wanted it. 4 videos out of almost 300 isn't the end of the world.

I think people are forgetting that since there are 4 options in the polls, just because something wins doesn’t mean the majority of people want to see it. The Ash Trevino topic won the poll with 42%. More than half of the people on Patreon didn’t want to see more Ash content, we just couldn’t unanimously decide on the other topic and the votes were split. Personally I watch the podcast because I just want to see Jesse and Lily talk. If there’s a specific topic that doesn’t get covered that I wanted to see, I look for other commentary channels that have covered it.

I see people giving alternatives on what Lily and Jessi should have done about covering Ash, but guess what? They can’t go back change anything who they covered. There’s plenty of people covering Ash so just go watch one of those if you need to know exactly what horrific thing she’s done this time is. But no matter what L&J do going forward about Ash, someone is going to be upset about it. I don’t know about everyone, but I’d be fine with small updates on Ash, but the extreme deep dives, that take up an entire episode, are draining and it gets old seeing her go in the same awful cycle. I think we all need to move past Ash getting covered or not and let L&J do what they think is best regarding that topic. Who knows, maybe they’ll stop letting us vote on the Friday topic if we can’t stop arguing about it.

Lowkey wish the girls could cover the Hailey Bieber 7 part series on her being a lowkey stalker to justin 😬 but I don’t want them to get sued.😅 I seen the photos and a few people talking about it a few years ago and never liked her anyways, but I’m surprised it came back up in a huge way.

It’s really disappointing that you guys can address the Ash comments but nothing about the Danisha Carter situation, or the comments about Hasan. There were equal if not more comments about that on the last poll and it feels really disingenuous to just ignore it when you specifically asked people for other ideas in the comments. As a drama podcast I think it’s your responsibility to address your own drama as well, especially in terms of where you stand on H3. Ethan was literally doing a N*** salute on stream the other day. It’s shocking that you guys can’t just make a quick comment on your stances on leftists and where you stand on Palestine, especially when it has to do specifically with comments that you guys made on leftists. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask you girlies to clarify!

No matter what though, I think it’s their responsibility to at least bring it up since Jessie has been a fan for so long and it’s obviously not easy to find if she doesn’t still support them. The wombat situation makes me feel rage and it’s so sad. I only watched a small portion through someone stitching the original video and it was so upsetting. Why can’t people just leave wild life alone. I cannot believe there are people who are willing to be so cruel for the sake of views. It’s disgusting that people sell out their humanity for clicks and they see no problem with it and think it’s funny.

I hope this isn't controversial? But honestly, I think we're taking the poll topics too seriously... We're NEVER going to all vote for the same topic and I truly don't think we should even have a say on what topics to veto? The whole point of the podcast is covering hot topics and we're not going to all enjoy every topic covered. I don't care if they cover Ash again or not, but I do think that poll results should be honored. Like I'm over the Wombat news, but I'm not going to get mad that other people voted for it and the girlies end up talking about it. I also think by voting, it means people want or don't want to hear about a topic, the comments are loud but also doesn't reflect the most voted. Talking about the majority vote in percentages is so much..... I think this was just meant to be an easy interest-gauge poll :' ) TL;DR I think the girlies should have honored the vote; it's nice that we get to vote on our interested topics; I really don't think we should get veto privileges because we're not a monolith....

I know that’s not how polls work, but I’m just trying to put it into perspective that there will have been reasons they decided against covering Ash. They won’t have made the decision lightly and no matter what they decided here, there will have been unhappy people.

Yeah I’ve avoided all podcasts covering it. Just the millisecond clip I saw of her makes me so upset, I can’t bring myself to actually watch or listen to an episode on it.

I have publicly and loudly shared many times my frustration with Jessi’s decision to not denounce h3 when she used their podcast platform to promote them so much but….
