Desk finds: newsletter week of 1/12 (Patreon)

Many moons ago, I committed to the travel life. It had always been my dream to see the world with a camera in my hands, and come hell or high water, that is what I was going to do. So I did! But almost a decade into fully living that dream, I can say with great confidence that there is no place like home <3.

Hello from Brooklyn, NY. For the first time in a few weeks, I'm coming to you from my big, messy desk, filled with a whole bunch of tech stuff I gotta figure out what to do with.

So, YouTube review, 60-second short, or skip to the following:

MCON – mobile gaming controller

Air Lab – A portable and open air quality measuring device

Mirumi – a very soft and cute robot that holds onto things and looks around

Garmin Forerunner 165 – the only smartwatch that 1. I have kept wearing and 2. has actually inspired me to work out more

IKEA's new Matter-compatible smart home devices

An Insta360 Ace Pro 2 and an Osmo Action 6 – been trying to decide if I should do a versus video...

Let me know in the comments what you want to hear about the most. In the meantime, here is everything I read, watched, and listened to over the last week.
