I love seeing reactors recognize Pedro 🤣🥰 he actually spoke about his time working on the show and said SMG was amazing and gracious, it was a very sweet interview ☺️ and the audio level seems fine to me!

Also, Sunday was initially going to be a slayer that had been turned, which is why she seems stronger than the usual vampire, but even as they were writing the episode they decided to scrap that idea and tweaked it to be more about Buffy just being off her game

I like this episode as a season opener and 'most ' of xanders speech is one of his best moments and reactors who get excited seeing Pedro is good fun. However the casual fatphobia done three times within the episode alongside the fact that the actor isn't actually fat always irritated me especially when it comes from Buffy who is one of the good guys.

I actually think k this was the first episode I saw too. I didn't really k ow what it was at the time, and didn't get realy into it until later, but the scene with Buffy and Xander in the Brinze is probably the very first thing I remember about this show.

It also so happens to be my absolute favorite Xander moment (& probably my fave Buffy/Xander scene ever); when he tells her she is his hero?! I love it! “When I’m freaked out or whatever I always think what would Buffy do?” - xanders best moment aside from taking down Dark Willow
