the staredowns at the end of every episode kill me lol

Comments

sen

omg thankss

Sukisuki

The description 😭 romance kdramas all have the 5 min stare off every ep

Bxneeyyx

no way y'all watch physical 100 without uss

Taelor Green

lol are you even really watching a romance k drama if they dont stare each other down for like 20mins at the end of each episode

Sham Sham

the way every creator ive seen react to the scene where gang-tae is left without the umbrella in the rain and everyone gets mad at the mom cracks me up cuz we legit see him stop walking under the umbrella on his own just cause mom pulled sang-taes hand in so they wouldn't get wet😂 but she needed that talk. like women just cause we were familiar with each other as kids doesn't mean u know me especially now as an adult. she's constantly acting like she knows everything about gant-tae, and how hes feeling, etc. just overstepping/ forcing her way in to early. but yeah nobody going to her after being choked like that annoyed me like yoo

Snax

i forgot how often kdramas used the kdrama stare...there's anime time, then there's kdrama time.

AllanJ

Sheera trying to be sensible, Roshi with the gentle shoulder touch and stare, "I want them to do it for money purposes" 😂

sen

im glad yall are enjoying this, its a great show from start to end

Mubarez Ahmad

These Powertrips in Korea are something else. These "important" people feel so entitled to do whatever they want it's disgusting

I thinkthe unbrella part was more to show that in his mind his mom never payed attention to him because of his brother's high maintenance a he holds a bit of resentment towards them both for it

Sham Sham

Oh ik that 😂 I’m just saying still it’s funny how people got annoyed when he legit stopped walking on his own

shadowfiend

this show is so good but the ten minute staredowns and recaps be taking me out

tabii ⁷
>>133112083

i don’t think that was the whole point tbh bc even after he stoped she didn’t notice or pull him back in. like she didn’t notice sang tae as if he was just there for his brother’s sake

ARC98

I don't wanna wait until next week! 😔 the nxt ep is one of my favorites

I feel it's two-fold in that I don't blame people for being mad at the mom, seeing it from child Gang-tae point of view. The mom was for sure giving Sang-taes more attention and love. She was also setting up Gang-tae to be a caretaker for sang-taes, when he just wanted to be a kid and be spoiled by his mom. When Gang-tae stopped it was most likely done on purpose to see if she would notice and protect him from the rain. Her not really noticing right away added to his fear/trauma that he wasn't loved or cherish. The other side is that it's hard parenting as it is, more so with a child on the spectrum. So I feel the Mom was doing her best as a single parent. To the other part of Ko overstepping, my take is I don't think she is or it's a problem for Gant-tae. I honesty think he like it, in that in his mind nobody fights for him like that. Everyone sort of goes along with him keeping them at a distance. I think the things he said were more defensive because in both good and bad ways, she says things that hit him dead center emotionally. A lot of her call outs about him are dead on and he knows it. Which I feel is good in the long road but can be triggering at first. Ko's problem is she lacks emotional intelligence/awareness and doesn't know or care how to read the room. How she sees parents/child as useless (given her upbringing) was triggering for Gang-tae feeling unloved/useless without the role of protecting his brother.

Void

Are you guys going to watch the new X-Men show, its really good and yall should try it

Moons

I think I fast forwarded the staredowns scenes back then because I don’t remember them being so long and frequent 💀😂 good episode though!

Sasha

This show keeps going strong. And that photo incident with Sang-tae was indeed funny. I don't see any offensive side in that even.

Sasha

I'm glad Sheera picked the fight with the "wrong" song😂

Wes App

Dune 1984 and Dune 2.

Shin splits

I need this show to be twice a week lol. Once a week is killing me 😂

NewKidsLoveAndFall

If you feel like Kdrama Powertrip is absurd, you should watch Rotten Mango's Sewol Tragedy on youtube and you will see there on full display how f*ed up South Korea Govt is.

envy

27:11 that line had a pun in it that you guys unfortunately wouldn’t know abt but the way y’all was laughing let me imagine that you did😭

Tyler
>>133132387

i would prefer worst of evil to be once a week fr, but it's whatever

Rosie

roshi's "eomma.." will never not be funny 🤣

Rosie

that zombie kid book kinda got to me a bit. mums really do sacrifice so much for their kids. lemme go hug my mum.

Naledi Biyela

The way I interpreted that story is that the mom was focusing on the wrong need. Her son was a bit different, but her isolating him is what turned him into a hungry monster. What he actually needed was her love and acceptance. That's why he speaks for the first time when he's holding her torso. He was hungry for acceptance and human contact.

Blake

Hey guys great reaction keep it up man I love y’all channel

Team

Plss make a reaction on the new Xmen animation

GojosHoho

Oh yeaa it's wonky pizza time ..trust me...there's more 😃

Sayyongtou

Idk y this show as good as it is is only once a week.

raeven b.

I swear, Sang Tae is my favorite kdrama character ever. He is so precious and funny. His actor is freaking amazing for portraying him so well. I adore Sang Tae.

Jaique Arnett

Pls can yall react to the anime Jormungand it’s like black lagoon made by the same animators as Hellsing ultimate it’s goated

Sayyongtou
>>133198282

agreed. when i first watch this i had to google the actor playing him to see if he is actually autistic since he played it so well.

Isabelle V.

Honestly Munyoung was my favorite character in this show. She embodied everything I wished a kdrama female actress would be. I’m so sick of female leads being so docile and predictable. Of course Munyoung is selfish and toxic as hell but at least she’s being herself. And she’s interesting. Unlike the 2nd female lead who came off as two faced to me.

varus ez

So many likes for this show! Amazing kdrama!

Taylor Lewis

We need a reaction to the new house of dragons trailers (team black vs team green) 👀 👀 👀

Destiny Simon
>>133213151

i thought so too but like after episode 7 she starts acting like every other female lead, crying all the time and sensitive, its like the writers completely forgot her character lmao.

John Cedar
>>133155418

Yes I 100% agree, it's a fairy tale, which means it needs a lesson. If the mother was simply caring for her child and giving pieces of herself so the story can metaphorically pay tribute to how mothers sacrifice for their children, then there wouldn't be any lesson. It would simply be a sad and tragic tale, and nothing more. Something had to be wrong in this story that Ko Moon-young wants to illustrate as important.

Naledi Biyela
>>133155418

Yes, thank you. I struggled to word it properly but essentially he was eating so much to fill the void in himself. She never held him or played with him, even spoke. He grew up in the dark all alone.

Chelle

Please watch “Queen of tears” for the next kdrama

CannonHawk

Had no idea you were watching this. One of my favorites.☺️

ceci
>>133213151

huh? she literally has mental illness and sm trauma. her character breaking down and showing more emotions as the show progresses is an indication that she is going through the healing process and slowly opening herself up! ps: there’s nothing wrong with crying and being “sensitive” that doesn’t mean she’s weak. the way y’all love to criticize female characters for being human is very telling of how you treat women in rl… very lame take yikes

David

hey quick question, did they ever watch Andor?

Gage Anderson

On my momma I need y’all to drop the solo leveling episode reaction rn lmao

Lil Pickle

need those early uploads plssss ToT

Travis

That boss room was called welcome to the sitcho ass down room

Random Guy

Like her style of writing

Isabelle V.
>>133213151

Girl it’s not that serious. I liked Munyoung’s rebellious and toxic side as much as her growth and healing. She’s a character in a fictional show.

Ashley

There's one aspect you guys aren't considering--the reason Gangtae got so pissed at Munyoung AND the politician guy was that they both were proclaiming that parents find children disposable if they cannot be of use to them. Gangtae was literally conceived because his mother wanted a protector for Sangtae, and she often ignored him and his needs outside of that specific lens (even if unintentionally). Hearing others speak so cavalierly of parents discarding children they considered "useless" deeply triggered Gangtae in both instances, and his frustration with he himself being a forgotten child and always having to push his own wants and feelings aside so he can continue his designated "purpose" of taking care of his brother is what brought on his rage. This is also why he snapped at Sangtae--he's been suppressing his feelings for too long.

HuntressZoldyck

Y’all should watch Marry my husband, it’s amazing !

WTT_321

27:08 if anyone didn't get this pun, him saying "no jam" is it's boring in Konglish, from what I remember watching from variety shows. XD

GojosHoho

Unfortunately recent events by this critter KSH reminded me I never finished this reaction 😭😭 I'm here for Yea ji 😌
