I started watching anime in 2021 so in my experience this is the biggest downfall I’ve ever seen and have no idea if there’s been worse but this was terrible Watched up till ep 7 stopped heard ep 11 they were back to the hands and tried to watch ep 8 in which I gave up and went straight to 11 and then I decided that there was no ep 12 and 13 and that 11 was the season finale and I was done

Definitely the biggest drop off I've seen in a single season. Promised Neverland S2 was way worse than this though if you haven't seen it.

So on a serious note though, this show only had one sakuga animator. And that guy is already busy doing so much shit on top of the animation as is, like directing and producing. So these guys were severely understaffed.

Dungeon Meshi is good for a duo watch since I'm not sure Lupa cares for that kind of anime. But yeah this anime died after the second episode because none of the characters honestly clicked ... I bet everyone would have forgiven this animes sudden change to Ninja mecha suits if the character's were more likable but they weren't. I didn't care when Emma died and honestly she was my favorite which says a lot. The plot didnt grab me all that much either sadly. It was cool but it didn't make me cry. Higan bored the crap outta me and I can't even explain why. A character being hot can only go so far, yo. And yeah, Roshi is right, this would have been great as a movie to wrap up in 2 hours.

The duality of shows. On one side, you guys kept watching ninja kamui cause the first episodes were good but ended up being dog. on the other side, you guys dropped delicious in dungeon the first couple episodes cause it was boring but as the episodes progressed it turned out goated af.

Honestly it's not just a cooking anime. There's cooking in it that they give attention to but there's actually world building and a plot. Honestly it's like Golden Kamuy a little bit but it keeps its cooking segments which GK dropped later on.

that is very true. As much as the story was meh overall the fight scenes at least were really fun to watch plus the making fun of the MC or Matakara was funny as hell so that's why that one deserves at least 6/10 but Ninja Kamui? Nah... it's 5 or 4/10 EASILY.

Well I think it was hyped because it was created by Sunghoo Park who is the GOAT of fighting animation. Unfortunately Sunghoo was basically a one man army creating this show. There was a really small team behind this so I hopefully they bring more people in with their next project.

Is that why Solo’s at a 100% on rotten tomatoes and Ninja Kamui is only 72%? And why solo leveling has overall better ratings over a larger margin than ninja kamui?? IMDb rates Ninja kamui a 7.7/10 while solo hits 8.9/10. it’s definitely a little predictable (for now) but by no means is solo leveling boring lol

I dont watch mid anime, but yeah i knew it was mid from the first episode. One dimensional mc and predictable/basic plot. "At least i can watch it for the cool fights"......well that didn't last long. These types of shows usually do very well for those that like it, but this show managed to piss off even their loyal fanbase that usually are here just for the action. Truly amazing~
