JohnnySmoke

They teased the fuck outta Migi at the end 💀 almost everybody was expecting an eye

J Man

What made things more fun for me was at the end was I was wondering "Why is Japanese Kamen Rider W in Korea?"... Because the actor is Kamen Rider W. Then I went "MIGI!!!!"

Aj

Satomi: “are you Shinichi Izumi” 😂

J Man

First thing Sheera goes to in the end discussion is sex.... FOR NO REASON!!! 😹

Jamie See

I love they connected this to the jp live action parasite.

J Man

Not necessarily, shinichi's actor was different in the Japanese live action. Here they got a more famous actor Masaki Suda (Kamen Rider W) to play Shinichi. I hope they keep Suda for season 2 because he's a great actor in everything I've seen him in (he also does a lot of Anime live actions, like Ass Class or Death Note)

Jamie See

I know, I just meant in general they connected the two.

William Zavala

I heard this version is the Anime version of Shinichi not the Live Action movie version of him

MC szn

I WAS WATITING FOR THIS EPISODE LMAO

RF

BTW if you liked this you should check out Kamen Rider Black Sun on Amazon.

Yoruka

dope show, ending cliffhanger got me mad hype when watching

Dark Shogun

I believe Migi actually did go away in a sense. He buried his consciousness deep and is analyzing various information.

Tbdovan

Migi is asleep. But also Shinichi is the strongest human/parasite he doesn't really need Migi lol.

PrinceHill

This show made me realize how much better live action adaptations would be if they would use original stories instead of trying to perfectly copy the original

Narybasmati

is it me or that garden place looks so similar than that Alice in borderland hide and seek episode?

Cory

I thought the same thing, I think it might be the same location they filmed that in.

Cory

Yep, Shinichi can fucking jump like 10 feet by himself now. He is the strongest human now even though Migi fucked off.

BlergMcFlergin

Bro really said "not crouching tiger hidden parasites"😂 This was a great episode.

BONE

Bro y’all gotta watch the original parasite live action

LiveLifeNoHolds1

I came back to patreon, as soon as I saw yal were reacting to this show, which was directed by the same guy who did "Train to Busan." Still hoping you react to "Hellbound" on Netflix - also by the same director. Or at least "Ajin" the anime... also on Netflix.

Lyandro

She was saving that all episode! We need to stop letting sheera cook🤣🤣🤣💀

Warui Yang

Please watch Kamen rider black sun

𓂀𓆃𓆣𓆣𓆃𓂀

Please react to 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗼 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 next Its so beautifully written and directed and the acting is superb really worth ur watch

suzukiri
>>140898059

to be fair i think this story in particular lends itself to be easier to adapt in an original way

Storm King

Yeah this can only work if the anime they are adapting has a good general plot that effecs the world or multiple locations so they do not have to focus on chracters we do not want them to ruin

Shakir Fo

Definitely hope they bring this back for a season 2. Also, Revenge of Others is a good one to check out

Luhbabytay

Nor sheera and Lupa would be running as fast neither why they laughing 🤣

Steve

I do really hope we get another Parasyte Manga with a "Second wave" of parasites showing up and Migi Reawakening, would be dope to see human+parasites vs Pure Parasites (the parasites true forms)

OnceUponABowl

They need to watch vigilante on hulu

just a guy

11:50 homeboy became Biden 🤣

poisonivybag

The minute I heard they switched to japanese I screamed out of joy lol. I need a season 2!!

Beast Boy

Didn't he lose his abilities? I swear I remember bro became sorry asf toward the end

Nae

A shop for killers next please 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

ZOOM

the anime + live action + japanese + korean crossover goes crazy

Aniki Pft

What's crazy is that i binged this a couple of weeks ago and DID NOT notice that was Shinichi.

MC szn

nah cuz migi saved shinichi's girl from falling off the building, migi just fucked off to do his own thing lol

Jay

Oh my god that wud be perfect

Jay

Plz guys “a shop for killers” next

ROSHISWIG

they're in shock1!11!11

ROSHISWIG

yeah we need a season 2, this is dope

Voirnane

YOU ARE NOT ALONE YOU GOT A FRIEND

Voirnane

WAIT HEYYY SHINICHIIII

jordany

I'm just catching these reactions now, loved it!! anyone have other live action remakes of animes similar to this or are just good they can recommend?

thatNEET_

If this is supposed to be the same universe as the original anime, I think this show kind of missed the assignment when it made the parasites seek revenge, sacrifice themselves for their kin, and just care about anybody but themselves in general. It also doesn't incorporate the fact that any parasite, can easily change their face.

thatNEET_

They copied the trick where the parasite split off and left a hollow head from what Reiko did when she was attacked by three other parasites. Except for when she did it, she wasn't trying to deceive the other parasites into not realizing that she had split in two. She just did it as a distraction to lead one of the parasites away while the other half took care of the other two. They'd were able to detect the weaker wavelengths coming from the hollow head even if she didn't do that right in front of them. It makes sense that Reiko was able to pull off a move like that considering her experimentation with putting multiple parasites into one host body. As for the pastor, you're supposed to accept the fact that he's just special and he figured out how to do all these things that the other parasites aren't capable of for some reason.

thatNEET_

That ending was pretty sick. I did not see that coming. Satomi would be pissed if Shinichi went back to the front lines after everything they've been through though.

Mori Drip

Well no, anime or not, this show is completely different. Different chracters and different parasytes. Not all parasytes are the same especially after existing in a host. We know this because in the anime we have seen multiple different types of parasytes. The one who gave birth to a human child for example
