god i love how much they’re both changing. yamada being so much more open about her feelings for ichikawa, ichikawa building his confidence and calling himself out on his negativity, sticking up for somebody trying to change, it’s just so great. it gave me whiplash going to episode 1 after finishing season 2 i swear man. they’re entirely different people

I dont think I have ever seen that many satisfying moments in a romance where both didnt confess fully yet....the other cliches are the ones I hate on other animes cause of how unrealistic and dragged on it gets but here they acknowledge it and portray it so much beautifully....the close up moments are probably the best and on kaguya sama level
